We have a pretty small group bowling this Fall, just 12 of us! So, we're going to do things a little differently this time around and roll a miniaturized season.
I'm still waiting for the bowling alley to approve the plan, so details might change, but I'd like to keep moving with the assumption they will approve so they we are ready to go when they give the okay.
Looks like we have the teams, the last of which was formed by default after the first three formed. Now I just need bowling orders, team captains, and team names.

We do not yet know the weekly cost, but it will be cheaper than usual. Since it's such a small group any prize fund would be too small to be worth the effort of tracking and allocating, so we're going to skip that and bowl just for fun and bragging rights. You'll be charged just what AMF charges us for use of the lanes.
There will be no payment envelopes, and cash will not be accepted You can pay with Venmo or Paypal, or write checks to AMF. Details to come.
Any of you still owed refunds from last season will find them credited to your account for this season.
Our mini season will be a short one, just 8 sessions. All teams will bowl each other once, then we will have a position round, all teams will bowl each other again, then a championship round. As such we will start on September 8, the Tuesday right after Labor Day, and finish on October 27, the Tuesday just before Halloween. (On the plus side, we'll be out of there before flu season!) Because there will be no prize money to hand out, we will skip the end-of-season league meeting and fun night this time.
Two other things: We will not be using the poker cards until covid is squashed. Also the bowling alley requires masks to be worn at all times except for when you are down at your lane area eating, drinking, or bowling.
