A listing (from most current to furthest back) of any write-up posts in which Jeremy has been mentioned:
  • Week 10 RoboRecap (Nov 9th, 2021) - The tenth week of Fall 2021 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (116) and series (329) for the women. As for the men, Carl Goetz snagged this week's high game with a 231, and high series was earned by Dennis Walling with a 602. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Monday Night Gutterball (Nov 1st, 2021) - Bowling on a Monday for the first time since 2001 due to the Wyandotte County elections on Tuesday night, the ninth week of Fall 2021 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Pre-bowled James Tott earned this week's high game (246) and series (617). Though with as many eyes as were fixated on the Chiefs game, it's amazing anyone remembered to record scores at all. :)

  • Week 4 RoboRecap (Sep 28th, 2021) - The fourth week of Fall 2021 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (181) and series (403) for the women, while Dennis Walling earned this week's high game (200) and series (590) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • A Glitch in the Matrix (Mar 10th, 2020) - The mid-season position round is over, so we're now officially halfway done. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (199) and series (478) for the women, while Demonic Duncan Ferber earned this week's high game (249) and series (666) for the men. While first and last place remained unchanged, there was some light mixing throughout all the other positions. Of particular note, F. C. K. D. has pulled themselves out of the bottom half and finally achieved a winning record.

  • Repo Men (Mar 3rd, 2020) - So far this season, Scootylicious was the first team to take possession of First Place, and maintained its care for three weeks. Then last week they sold it to Pin Is King 3. But the King's coffers were empty and this week they defaulted on the loan, prompting the Bank of KLEAN BAWLZ!!1 to call in the loan and repossess the title.

  • (Pin Is) King Not Crowned (Feb 18th, 2020) - The fifth week of Spring 2020 should have seen a new first place leader emerge, but that failed to happen. However just one other team did manage quite a climb in the standings. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (153) and series (406) for the women, while for the men Ken M. Wilson snagged this week's high game with a 279, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 634. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • The Scootylicious Center of a Scooty-pop (Feb 11th, 2020) - The fourth week of Spring 2020 saw three sets of action involving the number three. Three teams climbed in the standings. Three bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Meanwhile Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (164) and series (438) for the women. As for the men, Matthew Taylor snagged this week's high game with a 280, and high series was earned by Ben Spencer with a 664. The Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Carolina's Roller Coaster (Jan 21st, 2020) - The Spring 2020 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. One bowler set a new personal best series. Carolina Mach had a roller coaster of a night, picking up this week's high game (215) and series (416) for the women. This knocks Kathy Smith out of the 5th place for women's high page, after holding a position in the top 5 for nearly 20 years. More on that below. Meanwhile Seth Gunderson earned this week's high game (254) and series (626) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • They're Back! (Nov 27th, 2019) - Despite it not being the most likely of the three possible outcomes tonight, See you next Tuesday! managed to clinch the championship a week early! Though it's been a few seasons since we last saw them on top, this makes the third title for this specific team. This is also the third title for Nick Kinney, the fourth for Aaron Barber, the seventh for Jonathan Vigliaturo, and then... twelfth... for Seth Gunderson. Congrats, guys!

  • Sweepage! (Nov 19th, 2019) - As the Fall 2019 season draws closer to its conclusion, a bowling session that went almost exactly as predicted saw four sets of sweeps that led to... no change in the standings except for a flip of the bottom two positions. However, three bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder landed this week's high game for the women with a 151, and women's high series was bagged by Alison Radke with a 402. As for the men, Ben Spencer snagged this week's high game with a 235, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 637. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Just Peachy (Nov 12th, 2019) - Everything is just peachy!

  • When A Ball Loves A Rack (of Pins) (Oct 29th, 2019) - The eleventh week of Fall 2019 saw the second known marriage of two league bowlers (the first being Derek Jeter and Amanda Cox-Jeter sometime back in the W Bush era). It also saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (186) and series (470) for the women. As for the men, Ian Goetz snagged this week's high game with a 223, and high series was earned by Ken M. Wilson with a 614. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Happy Piniversary! (Oct 22nd, 2019) - As our league offocially celebrated its 20th birthday, some sort of malaise of old age set in. Apart from a few bright spots, rolling this week was so lackluster than not only did no one earn Most Valuable Bowler, nobody even qualified to be a runner-up! Through the mediocirty two teams did manage to climb in the standings, to the detriment of the two teams that slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (159) and series (433) for the women. As for the men, Dennis Walling snagged this week's high game with a 256, and high series was earned by Seth Gunderson with a 583. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Schooled. (Oct 15th, 2019) - While the first session on the back half of this season only saw the two teams in the middle of the standings swap places, school was in session and it resulted in the gap widening considerably between the only three teams with winning records. The ninth week of Fall 2019 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (160) and series (455) for the women, while Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (226) and series (604) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Dead Wood Dick (Oct 8th, 2019) - The Fall 2019 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! • Spring 2019 Recap (May 15th, 2019) -

  • All Hail the ToC Champs! (May 7th, 2019) - The Spring 2019 season draws to a close, with CICK Ass officially earning this season's championship title! But we aren't quite finished yet -- next week we will meet at our usual time to name all the award winners and hand out prize money (in the meeting room on the Finnegan's side, through the back of the snack bar), followed by 9-pin-tap fun night. The final week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Monica Hufford picked up this week's high game (186) and series (513) for the women, while Matthew Taylor earned this week's high game (237) and series (628) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • The Rainbow Connection (Apr 30th, 2019) - Last week Championship dreams were washed away for everyone exceptCICK Ass, and last night 40 bowlers experienced the drowning of whatever hope they had left of winning the Tournament of Champions. But for 8 of you there could be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, as next week the top two members of each division will compete for the largest Tournament of Champions prize in league history!

  • Clinched! (Apr 23rd, 2019) - Originally I was going to leave this week's as a robo-writeup due to me having another busy week, but then CICK Ass screwed that up for me by accomplishing something I had failed to notice they could do this week: they clinched the championship two weeks early! This makes the first championship for Chantal Jacot, 6 for Ian Goetz, a staggering 13 for Carl "Tits" Goetz, and an even more staggering 14 for Ken M. Wilson (sheesh!). Congratulations to all four of you!

  • Historic League Records Go Up In Smoke (Apr 16th, 2019) - The unlucky thirteenth week of Spring 2019 featured the rise of the Antichrist, who entered our world specifically to shatter a whole slew of league records. It also saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Alison Radke picked up this week's high game (170) and series (424) for the women, while Satan himself AJ Hofmann earned this week's high game (279) and series (672) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Let Chaos Reign (Apr 2nd, 2019) - By now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Spring 2019 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. The eleventh week saw four teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (175) and series (442) for the women. As for the men, Jonathan Vigliaturo and Ken M. Wilson both tied for this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Aaron Barber with a 663. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Speedy Recap (Mar 26th, 2019) - With about a quarter of the league at the Weezers/Pixies concert (admit it, Phil & Freda, we all know you were there too), the rest of us got to enjoy a speedy evening that finished relatively early. Unfortunately that didn't translate into extra write-up time for Scoot, and since he's very busy today we are going to leave about 90% of this as the computer-generated writeup. The tenth week of Spring 2019 saw two teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Monica Hufford picked up this week's high game (176) and series (491) for the women. As for the men, Aaron Barber snagged this week's high game with a 234, and high series was earned by Ian Goetz with a 643. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Screwball Season Getting Screwier (Mar 19th, 2019) - This season has seen its share of weirdness -- due both to the number of teams and two both really high and really low games coming from unexpected places. This week was no exception. But next week it will get even weirder.

  • Big Ball Chantal (Mar 12th, 2019) - Many times throughout our history bowlers have bought a new ball and seen immediate improvement in their game. But never before have we seen this happen as dramatically as it did last night with Chantal's new ball. Overall, two teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Chantal Jacot picked up this week's high game (208) and series (471) for the women, while Dennis Walling earned this week's high game (245) and series (634) for the men. Three bowlers didn't get the memo that you aren't supposed to do this the first week and set a new personal best series, and four rolled new personal high games. Monica Hufford picked up this week's high game (176) and series (468) for the women. As for the men, Jeremy Cline snagged this week's high game with a 228, and high series was earned by Conor Clarke with a 591. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Fall 2018 Recap (Dec 13th, 2018) -

  • Could Next Week Include a Three-Way? (Nov 27th, 2018) - Well, this is it, we’ve nearly reached the end of the season and the championship round is next week. While much attention has been focused on the struggles this season of defending champions Serious Bowlers and the fact that they are now eliminated from trophy contention, there’s another part of this story that deserves even more attention. And that is the quiet but rapid rise of BDE. Oncedangling limp down in 7th place, BDE has firmed up into virile force that has penetrated into championship contention and could explode into a messy situation for all of us next week if a couple of other teams don’t use adequate protection. More on next week’s potential sticky situation in a moment, let’s first run through how everyone did last night…

  • Almost A Clean Sweep (Nov 13th, 2018) - This topsy-turvy season continues to get screwier and screwier, as four sweeps and a near sweep continued to stir up the standings. Once in 7th place, BDE this week pulled ahead of the two-time defending champions and found themselves tied for third place. Meanwhile rookie team Teeby Dee, who spent most of the season lingering near the bottom of the standings, suddenly finds a winning record within quick reach and is still mathematically a contender for the trophy. These two teams face each other next week, so this will be the game to watch as the outcome could be BDE moving cleanly into third place or TBD attaining a positive win record.

  • The Voter Rolls (Nov 6th, 2018) - Last night, based on exit polling plus early returns, Bowling News Network (BNN) called first place for Serious Bowlers. Boy, are we red-faced about that one. We haven't missed a call that badly since we projected Hiillary Clinton the Tournament of Champions winner in Fall 2016! The twelfth week of Fall 2018 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Monica Hufford picked up this week's high game (172) and series (493) for the women. As for the men, Seth Gunderson snagged this week's high game with a 233, and high series was earned by Aubrey Moren with a 565. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Week 11 Final RoboHeadline (Oct 30th, 2018) - The eleventh week of Fall 2018 saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Monica Hufford picked up this week's high game (162) and series (427) for the women, while Michael Gordon earned this week's high game (242) and series (595) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Shifting Positions (Oct 24th, 2018) - The Fall 2018 position round is now history, and we now have a new league leader that has pulled ahead of the pack. The tenth week saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series. Freda Schroeder landed this week's high game for the women with a 190, and women's high series was bagged by Monica Hufford with a 480. As for the men, Dennis Walling earned this week's high game (224) and series (598). Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Balance Restored... (sorta) (Oct 16th, 2018) - By now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Fall 2018 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. The ninth week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. JoAnne Gordon landed this week's high game for the women with a 169, and women's high series was bagged by Monica Hufford with a 472. As for the men, Matthew Taylor earned this week's high game (215) and series (552). Read on for all the rest of the details!

  • Week 6 RoboRecap (Sep 25th, 2018) - The sixth week of Fall 2018 saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped.
