Fall 2002 Week 6 Robo-RecapThe Fall 2002 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! A stagnated sixth week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Two bowlers set a new personal best series. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (149) and series (438) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (233) and series (617) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Pop Gunns took turns kicking the ball return with UnaBowlers. Demonstrating the prowess of Carl Goetz with his 517 series, Pop Gunns celebrated a clean sweep over the UnaBowlers. While that was going down, Justin Strelow mastered the UnaBowlers with his 451 despite his team getting swept. Pop Gunns remains in 3rd place, while the UnaBowlers remain in 4th.

week6On lanes 19 & 20: GRRR accepted a challenge by Team 5. Despite the strength of #1 Power-Ranked Scott Murdock and his stunning 465 series, GRRR accomplished only 1 win against Team 5. Concurrently, David Codding commanded Team 5 with his above-average 503 as his team took the series with 3 wins. GRRR remains in 6th place, while Team 5 remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Top Guns faced off against Team 6. Blessed by #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy and his powerful 617 series, Top Guns split the series with Team 6. Across the ball return, Most Valuable Bowler Nik Domann called the shots for Team 6 with his marvelous 450 as they matched their opponent in wins. Top Guns remains in 2nd place, while Team 6 remains in 5th.

Bowlers slipping under the velvet rope in front of The 200 Club include: Pat Searcy (233,203)

New personal best series were rolled tonight by Scott Murdock (465, previous best 442) and Pat Searcy (617, previous best 601).

Pat Searcy nabbed both high game and series for the men this season with his 233 and 617, respectively.

The 233 rolled by Pat Searcy is the new 3rd-best men's game in league history!
Pat Searcy SET THE NEW ALL-TIME HIGH SERIES WITH His 617! CONGRATULATIONS!

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place Team 5 will compete against 5th-place Team 6. Team 5 is expected to watch their averages take a plunge, but split the series with Team 6; while Team 6 is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
  • Moving to lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Top Guns will share a couple of pitchers with 4th-place UnaBowlers. Top Guns might have their averages plummet, but split the series with the UnaBowlers; while the UnaBowlers ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Pop Gunns will spend some quality time with 6th-place GRRR. Pop Gunns are predicted to see their averages fall off a cliff, but split the series with GRRR; while GRRR is anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
