A stagnated second week of Fall 2002 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (156) and series (423) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (221) and series (585) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Team 5 kept stealing sips of beer from GRRR. Led by David Parre with his 471 series, Team 5 missed a clean sweep over GRRR by just one pin.Concurrently, Byron Hester dominated GRRR with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 357 as his team missed getting swept by just one pin. Team 5 remains in 2nd place, while GRRR remains in 5th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Top Guns shared a platter of cheese sticks with Team 6. With the strength of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Bob Brunker and his awe-inspiring 579 series, Top Guns celebrated a clean sweep over Team 6. Meanwhile, Nik Domann showed off in Team 6 with his 390 despite his team getting swept. Top Guns remains in 3rd place, while Team 6 remains in 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: UnaBowlers waged a heated competition against Pop Gunns. Regardless of the star power of Corey Weinfurt with his 451 series, the UnaBowlers got swept by Pop Gunns. On the other half of the score sheet, Most Valuable Bowler Carl Goetz shined in Pop Gunns with his stupendous 585 as they swept the competition. UnaBowlers remains in 4th place, while Pop Gunns remain in 1st.

NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place Pop Gunns will meet with 3rd-place Top Guns. Pop Gunns are expected to have the bottom drop out of their averages, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Moving to lanes 19&20, 4th-place UnaBowlers will challenge 2nd-place Team 5. The UnaBowlers might see a pretty significant "market correction" to their averages, but split the series with Team 5; while Team 5 ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place Team 6 (hcp 2) will hang out with 5th-place GRRR. Team 6 is predicted to roll decently and sweep the series; while GRRR is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
