And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Spare Change had a delightful time with Wolverines. Regardless of the star power of Demond Robinson with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 465 series, Spare Change accomplished only 1 win against the Wolverines. On the other half of the score sheet, Dennis Laube mastered the Wolverines with his 442 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Spare Change drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Wolverines move 1 spot to 2nd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Anchors Aweigh! tussled with Bowl me Ishmael!. With the strength of David Codding with his below-average 528 series, the Anchors missed a clean sweep over Ishmael by just one pin.On the other side, Paul Linder drew the spotlight in Ishmael with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 354 as his team missed getting swept by just one pin. Anchors Aweigh! remains in 1st place, while Ishmael plunges 3 spots to 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Atomic Goo had some one-on-one time with Bowlers of Mass Confusion. While headlined by Steve Robinson with his above-average 499 series, Atomic Goo accomplished only 1 win against Mass Confusion. While that was going down, Jason Carpio shined in Mass Confusion with his outstanding 501 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Atomic Goo drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Mass Confusion jumps 2 spots to 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Gutter Minds traded lane malfunctions with Theee Beeelt. Topped by #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Angela Bradford and her amazing 575 series, Gutter Minds split the series with Theee Beeelt. On the adjacent lane, #1 Head-to-Head Nik Domann commanded Theee Beeelt with his dramatic 538 as they matched their opponent in wins. Gutter Minds leap 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Theee Beeelt moves 1 spot to 5th.

- Moving to lanes 19&20, 8th-place Atomic Goo (hcp 79) will throw some gutter balls with 4th-place Gutter Minds. Atomic Goo might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Gutter Minds ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
- Then, over on lanes 21&22, 1st-place Anchors Aweigh! will chuck some balls with 3rd-place Spare Change (hcp 64). The Anchors will likely have a bit of an off night and lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Spare Change will probably raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
- Finally, on lanes 23&24, 7th-place Bowl me Ishmael! (estimated hcp 54) will chill with 2nd-place Wolverines. Ishmael is predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while the Wolverines are anticipated to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
