Fall 2005 Week 4 Robo-RecapThe fourth week of Fall 2005 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (132) and series (382) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (245) and series (702) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!

As for the opposition, Thomas Lin dominated Derka, Derka with his 535 as they matched their opponent in wins. Tatonka drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Derka, Derka remains in 1st.

week4On lanes 23 & 24: Munson'd deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Three Men and a Babe. Though featuring Gabe Wishnie with his 386 series, Munson'd got swept by Three Men and a Babe. On the flipside, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) David Codding laid down the law in Three Men and a Babe with his staggering 702 as they swept the competition. Munson'd remains in 8th place, while Three Men and a Babe moves 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Same Belt, New Notch shared a few beers with The Big LeBowlskies. Notwithstanding the leadership of Demond Robinson with his 539 series, the Belt accomplished only 1 win against The Big LeBowlskies. On the other side, Dennis Laube reigned supreme in The Big LeBowlskies with his 537 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Same Belt, New Notch remains in 4th place, while The Big LeBowlskies move 1 spot to 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls kept grabbing the balls of Bora Bora!. Despite the strength of Andy Metzler with his 501 series, Harry Potter accomplished only 1 win against Bora Bora!. Conversely, John Richardson guided Bora Bora! with his terrific 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls remains in 7th place, while Bora Bora! sinks 1 spot to 6th.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 21&22, 8th-place Munson'd (hcp 127) will chill with 4th-place Same Belt, New Notch. Munson'd is expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Belt is forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 23&24, 6th-place Bora Bora! (hcp 87) will meet with 1st-place Derka, Derka. Bora Bora! might maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Derka, Derka ought to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
  • Then, over on lanes 25&26, 3rd-place Tatonka (hcp 48) will test their mettle against 7th-place Harry Potter and the Magic Balls. Tatonka will likely maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Harry Potter; while Harry Potter will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 2nd-place The Big LeBowlskies (hcp 33) will face 5th-place Three Men and a Babe. The Big LeBowlskies are predicted to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Three Men and a Babe is anticipated to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
