The fourteenth week of Fall 2005 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (215) and series (588) for the women. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson snagged this week's high game with a 236, and high series was earned by Thomas Lin with a 615. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Bora Bora! celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Same Belt, New Notch. Even though highlighted by the skills of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Freda Schroeder and her thrilling 588 series, Bora Bora! accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. On the flipside, Carl Goetz showed off in the Belt with his above-average 585 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bora Bora! drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Belt jumps 2 spots to 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: Derka, Derka traded lane malfunctions with Munson'd. Starring Thomas Lin with his astounding 615 series, Derka, Derka celebrated a clean sweep over Munson'd. On the other side, Ryan Doll shined in Munson'd with his 475 despite his team getting swept. Derka, Derka remains in 4th place, while Munson'd remains in 8th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls did battle with The Big LeBowlskies. Notwithstanding the leadership of Andy Metzler with his 465 series, Harry Potter missed getting swept by The Big LeBowlskies by just one pin. Across the ball return, Michael Basham drew the spotlight in The Big LeBowlskies with his phenomenal 561 as his team took the series with 3.5 wins. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls remains in 7th place, while The Big LeBowlskies remain in 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Three Men and a Babe had a rendezvous with Tatonka. With top billing by David Codding with his 583 series, Three Men and a Babe collected 3 wins against Tatonka. On the adjacent lane, Joel Henning took the lead in Tatonka with his dramatic 489 despite his team notching only a single win. Three Men and a Babe remains in 5th place, while Tatonka sinks 1 spot to 2nd.

New personal high games were set tonight by Scott Murdock (202, previous best 198) and Freda Schroeder (215, previous best 213). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Scott Murdock (533, previous best 531) and Freda Schroeder (588, previous best 550). Freda Schroeder earned both this season's women's high game and series with her 215 and 588, respectively.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Dennis Laube came closest), while Freda Schroeder shut down Division 2. Brad Zollars eradicated Division 3, and Andrea DeLong spanked Division 4. In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson holds the reins in Division 1; Seth Gunderson runs the show in Division 2; Phil Schroeder tops Division 3; and John Richardson calls the shots for Division 4.

- First, on lanes 21&22, 7th-place Harry Potter and the Magic Balls (hcp 76) will share a couple of pitchers with 5th-place Three Men and a Babe. Harry Potter is expected to roll a little low and get swept; while Three Men and a Babe is forecast to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.

- Then, over on lanes 25&26, 4th-place Derka, Derka (hcp 48) will challenge 1st-place Same Belt, New Notch. Derka, Derka will likely roll decently, but split the series with the Belt; while the Belt will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 3rd-place Bora Bora! will chuck some balls with 8th-place Munson'd (hcp 56). Bora Bora! is predicted to perform well and sweep the series; while Munson'd is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
