By now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Spring 2006 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. The seventh week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Tracy Rychlewski landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 460. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 256, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 661. Read on for all the rest of the details!

While that was going down, Most Valuable Bowler Jason Carpio called the shots for the Belt with his above-average 630 as his team took the series with 3 wins. In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz vanquished Division 1, while David Codding got the better of Division 2. John Richardson claimed victory in Division 3, and Ryan Doll mopped up Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about this bracket as it was a complete embarassment. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz runs the show in Division 1; David Codding tops Division 2; Tim Segraves governs Division 3; and Ryan Doll dominates Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 21&22, 1st-place I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! will share a couple of pitchers with 2nd-place Split Happens (hcp 136). The Belt is expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Split Happens are forecast to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
- Moving to lanes 23&24, 3rd-place Bowl Movement will face 4th-place Sweeter Than Yoohoo (hcp 87). Bowl Movement might perform well and sweep the series; while Yoohoo ought to drop their average a bit while they endure a rough night.
- Then, over on lanes 25&26, 5th-place Yo Mama (hcp 64) will spend some quality time with 6th-place Bora Bora. Yo Mama will likely roll decently, but split the series with Bora Bora; while Bora Bora will probably raise their average while they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 7th-place Tatonka will throw some gutter balls with 8th-place Guttersluts (hcp 96). Tatonka is predicted to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Guttersluts are anticipated to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
