With the completion of tonight's games, every team has now faced every other team once. Next week will be the "midseason" position round, then we will start the schedule rotation over again for the final six weeks. And after the snafus of the last two weeks, the position round should put the computers back in synch so we won't have to cut up and re-arrange our score sheets anymore.
On lanes 1 & 2: Roll, Drink, Repeat celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with NotContra. Sean Simmons and his 520 series led Roll, Drink, Repeat to utter defeat. Meanwhile, led by Seth Gunderson's 603 series paved the way for NotContra to cause yet another weekly change in first place team. Roll, Drink, Repeat remains in 8th place, while NotContra moves up 1 spot to 1st.
On lanes 3 & 4: Brooklyn Strikers snuggled up with Mustache Cash Stash. Led by this week's #1 power-ranked bowler Brian Orrick and his 494 series, Brooklyn Strikers secured 3 wins against Mustache Cash Stash. Meanwhile, led by Michael Mead and his 582 series, Mustache Cash Stash could only manage 1 win. Brooklyn Strikers remains in 7th place, while Mustache Cash Stash drops 1 spot to 5th. What's going on, Cash Stash? You were once league leaders but now you are down in the middle of the pack.
On lanes 5 & 6: Only half of The Alt-Left showed up to bowl against Holy Sandbaggers, Batman!, and they might as well have stayed home too. Led by Lefty John Boren and his 403 series, The Alt-Left managed only 1 win against Holy Sandbaggers, Batman!. Meanwhile, #1 head-to-head bowler Dennis Laube and his 574 series, carried Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! to 3 wins. The Alt-Left remains in 3rd place, while Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! drops 1 spot to 2nd due to total pins.
On lanes 7 & 8: DB's Rusty Nuts took turns kicking the ball return with Bowl Yer Ballz Off. Jeremy Varnell's 405 series brought the Nuts only 1 win against Bowl Yer Ballz Off. Rob Kaszuba, meanwhile, rolled a 508 series tp pave the way to 3 wins for the Ballz. DB's Rusty Nuts remains in 9th place, while Bowl Yer Ballz Off remains in 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 9 & 10: Less Terra Bowl had a nice time hanging out with the fellas from Split It & Hit It. Led by Matthew Taylor and his 564 series, Less Terra Bowl snatched 3 wins against Split It & Hit It. Russell Bingham's 481 series took Split It to their one 1 win. Less Terra Bowl climbs 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Split It & Hit It remains in 10th.
