Tonight was supposed to see our league finally as full as it's going to get this season, but like several other bowlers our new guy was infected with pestilence. However, Michael Mead showed up and inoculated us with a shot of kick-ass bowling that rocketed him to the top of the individual standings.

Way down on the ball-eating lanes 7 & 8: half of Split It & Hit It spent a romantic evening with Vote JV HoF Minus JV 2016. Led by Dennis Blake and his 547 series, and despite a division-winning effort by Michael Smith, Split It & Hit It managed only 1 win against Vote JV HoF 2016. Meanwhile, Seth Gunderson led JV to 3 wins with his 595 series, Vote JV HoF 2016 secured 3 wins. Split It & Hit It remains in 6th place, while Vote JV HoF 2016 remains in 1st.

On lanes 9 & 10: O'Dell Lawn Service faced off against half of Stephen Hawking's Fight Club. Clearly it was the better half of that team, because Michael Mead led the league (as well as Fight Club to 3 wins) with a 626 series that included a new personal-best 268 game. On the losing side, Aaron Barber and his 554 series, led O'Dell Lawn Service to a solo win. O'Dell Lawn Service drops 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Stephen Hawking's Fight Club remains in 4th.

On lanes 11 & 12: Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! sat down for crumpets and tea with Ray & Stevie. Led by Aubrey Moren and her his 550 series, Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! secured a clean sweep over Ray & Stevie. Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! climbs 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while Ray & Stevie remains in 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 13 & 14, a disease-ridden Terra Bowl sparred with W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E!. Led by Jake Parrott and his 436 series, Terra Bowl managed only 1 win against W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E!. Landon Cline led the alphabet with his 534 series, W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E! secured 3 wins. Terra Bowl remains in 7th place, while W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E! remains in 2nd.

This week in Tournament of Champions, Carl Goetz won Division 1 to establish an early first place lead. Division 2 faltered, but Seth Gunderson and Dennis Blake at least got a point on the board. Russel Bingham made it furthest in Division 3 but AJ Hofmann continues holding the lead there, and Michael Smith crushed Division 4 to slide into 2nd place just behind Sean Simmons.
