On lanes 43 & 44: Salt Water Taffy faced off against Ray & Stevie. With his nether regions tingling in excitement over the return of Jonathan Vigliaturo, Seth Gunderson went absolutely nuts to lead his team to a clean sweep with a 598 series. Salt Water Taffy climbs 3 spots in the standings to 2nd place.
On lanes 45 & 46: A typically-partial Split It & Hit It rose to meet the challenge of It's A Trap!. Led by Dennis Blake and his 490 series, Split It secured a clean sweep over the Trap. Andrew Finger tried to ensnare Split It with his 503 series, but could not avoid getting swept. Split It climbs 2 spots in the standings to 4th place, while It's A Trap! remains in 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 47 & 48: In the tensest competition of the evening, Hold My Beer, Watch This met Stephen Hawkings Dance Club in a fierce battle of roommate vs roommate. Kody Karnes led Hold My Beer with his 697 series, while Michael Gordon let the Dance Club with his 506 series(and was assisted by a #1 Power ranked & MVB performance by Matt O'Dell ), In the end, it was a split. Hold My Beer, Watch This drops 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Stephen Hawkings Dance Club drops 1 spot to 3rd.
The Tournament of Champions is currently a mess online until Scoot reprograms it to distribute the blinds among each division. In the meantime, here's how it breaks out by division:
