While Amazeballs extended their hold on first place considerably tonight, the bigger story was that every other matchup of the night saw the underdogs commit some amazing upsets. Getting the ho-hum matchup out of the way first, on lanes 41 & 42: 10 Pins 10 Balls faced off against Amazeballs. Continuing to thumb their noses at the rest of the league, Ryan Doll and his 597 series led Amazeballs to a clean sweep. Dennis Laube tried to mount a defense with his 560 series, but couldn't muster any wins out of it. 10 Pins 10 Balls remains in 5th place, while Amazeballs remains in 1st.

On lanes 43 & 44, Sponsored By Rogueexpected an easy set of victories against last-place Ballz Out. But Ballz Out rolled balls out, with a Most Valuable Bowler and #1 Power Ranked 622 series by Cliff Barendsen leading the matchup. Carl Goetz and his 588 series led Rogue, but they may have lost their Sponsorship after this upset. Sponsored By Rogue remains in 3rd place, while Ballz Out remains in 8th.

Lanes 45 & 46 saw the night's next upset, when Gimme Headpin faced off against Split It & Hit It. Led by Brian Coe and his pre-bowled 649 series, Gimme Headpin managed only 1 win against Split It & Hit It. Dennis Blake definitely hit it tonight with his 605 series, which included this week's league-high game (237), notching 3 wins for Split It. Gimme Headpin remains in 2nd place, while Split It & Hit It remains in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 47 & 48: The Pin is Mightier was expected to be easy fodder for Squirtin' Tunas. However Scott Murdock and his 490 series, assisted by an MVB-runner-up performance by Dennis Cummings, adjusted the PinIs by 4 more wins. Russell Bingham tried his best with his 510 series, but the Tuna got canned. The Pin is Mightier remains in 7th place, while Squirtin' Tunas remains in 4th.

There are a few of you who really need to start putting some cash dollars into those payment envelopes. Chop chop!This week in Tournament of Champions, Kody Karnes win Division 1 to move into 2nd place.
