Spring 2010 Week 12 Robo-RecapThe tweltfh week of Spring 2010 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (201) and series (582) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (251) and series (708) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 25 & 26: Empire Strikes Back had a rendezvous with Bowlumpkin. With top billing by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his remarkable 708 series, the Empire collected 3 wins against Bowlumpkin. In the midst of this, AJ Taylor reigned supreme in Bowlumpkin with his above-average 447 despite his team notching only a single win. Empire Strikes Back leaps 1 spot in the standings to 1st place, while Bowlumpkin plunges 2 spots to 7th.

Jeremy Cline celebrates the passage of medical marijuana in Missouri. On lanes 27 & 28: The Prak Attack entered a showdown to the death with Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz. Showcasing Shane Pfaffly with his breathtaking 491 series, the Attack celebrated a clean sweep over the Schlitz. Concurrently, Angela Bradford ruled the Schlitz with her fantastic 582 despite her team getting swept. The Prak Attack leaps 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while the Schlitz sinks 1 spot to 2nd.

On lanes 29 & 30: Lil' Devils spent a romantic evening with 3 Pin Moon. Though reinforced by Andrea Caudillo with her above-average 460 series, Lil' Devils accomplished only 1 win against 3 Pin Moon. On the flipside, Ryan Doll mastered 3 Pin Moon with his 568 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Lil' Devils remains in 4th place, while 3 Pin Moon remains in 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 31 & 32: No Pinheads had a delightful time with Little Lebowski Urban Achievers. Demonstrating the prowess of Aubrey Moren with his awe-inspiring 594 series, the Pinheads split the series with the Urban Achievers. Countering this, Mitch Kempker guided the Urban Achievers with his 562 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Greg Shelton) as they matched their opponent in wins. No Pinheads remains in 6th place, while the Urban Achievers remain in 8th.

Wilson reigns over Division 1; Angela Bradford and Brett Schroeder run the show in Division 2 in a tie; Janelle (Laube) Lamar holds the reins in Division 3; and Lawrence Prak leads Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 25&26, 6th-place No Pinheads will match wits with 5th-place The Prak Attack (hcp 137). The Pinheads are expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Attack is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Moving to lanes 27&28, 7th-place Bowlumpkin (hcp 107) will tussle with 3rd-place 3 Pin Moon. Bowlumpkin might maintain their current strength as they get swept; while 3 Pin Moon ought to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
  • Then, over on lanes 29&30, 2nd-place Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz will battle 8th-place Little Lebowski Urban Achievers (hcp 114). The Schlitz will likely maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while the Urban Achievers will probably raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 31&32, 4th-place Lil' Devils (hcp 158) will throw some gutter balls with 1st-place Empire Strikes Back. Lil' Devils are predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while the Empire is anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
