The tweltfh week of Spring 2010 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (201) and series (582) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (251) and series (708) for the men. First up, on lanes 25 & 26: Empire Strikes Back waged a heated competition against Bowlumpkin. Demonstrating the prowess of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his stunning 708 series, the Empire collected 3 wins against Bowlumpkin. Concurrently, AJ Taylor ruled Bowlumpkin with his above-average 447 despite his team notching only a single win. Empire Strikes Back leaps 1 spot in the standings to 1st place, while Bowlumpkin plunges 2 spots to 7th.
On lanes 27 & 28: The Prak Attack tussled with Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz. Featuring Shane Pfaffly with his astounding 491 series, the Attack celebrated a clean sweep over the Schlitz. Across the ball return, Angela Bradford reigned supreme in the Schlitz with her miraculous 582 despite her team getting swept. The Prak Attack leaps 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while the Schlitz sinks 1 spot to 2nd.
On lanes 29 & 30: Lil' Devils accepted a challenge by 3 Pin Moon. Although blessed by Andrea Caudillo with her above-average 460 series, Lil' Devils accomplished only 1 win against 3 Pin Moon. On the adjacent lane, Ryan Doll guided 3 Pin Moon with his 568 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Lil' Devils remains in 4th place, while 3 Pin Moon remains in 3rd.
Finally, down on lanes 31 & 32: No Pinheads entered a showdown to the death with Little Lebowski Urban Achievers. Starring Aubrey Moren with his splendid 594 series, the Pinheads split the series with the Urban Achievers. Meanwhile, Mitch Kempker mastered the Urban Achievers with his 562 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Greg Shelton) as they matched their opponent in wins. No Pinheads remains in 6th place, while the Urban Achievers remain in 8th.

A new
personal high game was set tonight by
Sarah Sauer (180, previous best 175). In addition, a new
personal best series was rolled by Aubrey Moren (594, previous best 585).
Adding to the excitement, the 708 rolled by Carl Goetz is this season's new high series for men.
The 582 rolled by Angela Bradford is the new 5th-best women's series in league history!

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz made quick work of Division 1, while Angela Bradford eradicated Division 2. Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Andrea Caudillo came closest), and Lawrence Prak had his way with Division 4.
In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson calls the shots for Division 1; Angela Bradford and Brett Schroeder dominate Division 2 in a tie; Janelle (Laube) Lamar holds the reins in Division 3; and Lawrence Prak governs Division 4.
NEXT WEEK: - First, on lanes 25&26, 6th-place No Pinheads will meet with 5th-place The Prak Attack (hcp 137). The Pinheads are expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Attack is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
