The second week of Spring 2010 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (175) and series (464) for the women. As for the men, Ryan Doll snagged this week's high game with a 234, and high series was earned by Dennis Laube with a 592. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 25 & 26: Little Lebowski Urban Achievers tussled with The Prak Attack. Notwithstanding the leadership of Mitch Kempker with his below-average 579 series, the Urban Achievers accomplished only 1 win against the Attack. On the flipside, Shane Pfaffly mastered the Attack with his phenomenal 425 (with a nod to #1 Power-Ranked Lawrence Prak) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Little Lebowski Urban Achievers drop 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Attack jumps 2 spots to 6th.
On lanes 27 & 28: Bowlumpkin faced off against Lil' Devils. With the strength of Dave Winger with his above-average 412 series, Bowlumpkin collected 3 wins against Lil' Devils. Conversely, Janelle (Laube) Lamar drew the spotlight in Lil' Devils with her 393 despite her team notching only a single win. Bowlumpkin leaps 3 spots in the standings to 4th place, while Lil' Devils plunge 2 spots to 5th.
On lanes 29 & 30: 3 Pin Moon shared a few beers with Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz. Headlined by Ryan Doll with his 569 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Adam Messner, 3 Pin Moon celebrated a clean sweep over the Schlitz. Meanwhile, Bob Brunker reigned supreme in the Schlitz with his 519 despite his team getting swept. 3 Pin Moon remains in 1st place, while the Schlitz plunges 2 spots to 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 31 & 32: Empire Strikes Back spent some quality time with No Pinheads. In spite of the prowess of Carl Goetz with his 559 series, the Empire got swept by the Pinheads. Across the ball return, #1 Head-to-Head Dennis Laube commanded the Pinheads with his commanding 592 as they swept the competition. Empire Strikes Back plummets 2 spots in the standings to 8th place, while the Pinheads jump 2 spots to 2nd.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Adam Messner (541, previous best 539). Adding to the excitement, the 234 rolled by Ryan Doll is this season's new high game for men.

- First, on lanes 25&26, 4th-place Bowlumpkin (hcp 76) will socialize with 7th-place Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz. Bowlumpkin is expected to perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Schlitz is forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
- Moving to lanes 27&28, 8th-place Empire Strikes Back will chuck some balls with 6th-place The Prak Attack (hcp 189). The Empire might maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while the Attack ought to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
- Then, over on lanes 29&30, 5th-place Lil' Devils (hcp 155) will meet with 2nd-place No Pinheads. Lil' Devils will likely roll decently, but split the series with the Pinheads; while the Pinheads will probably drop their average a bit while they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 31&32, 1st-place 3 Pin Moon will challenge 3rd-place Little Lebowski Urban Achievers (hcp 177). 3 Pin Moon is predicted to roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while the Urban Achievers are anticipated to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
