The fifteenth week of Fall 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (174) and series (468) for the women, while Jason Carpio earned this week's high game (276) and series (664) for the men. Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Sweep The Leg, Johnny spent some quality time with Chicks With Balls. Blessed by David Codding with his 629 series, Sweep The Leg split the series with the Chicks. On the flipside, Janelle (Laube) Lamar shined in the Chicks with her miraculous 468 as they matched their opponent in wins. Sweep The Leg, Johnny remains in 1st place, while the Chicks remain in 9th.
On lanes 21 & 22: BOWLSH!T sparred with WWJB. Showcasing Travis Kleiner with his above-average 488 series, BOWLSH!T celebrated a clean sweep over WWJB. On the adjacent lane, Dave Winger called the shots for WWJB with his above-average 449 despite his team getting swept. BOWLSH!T leaps 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while WWJB plunges 2 spots to 8th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Ebowla alternated between bowling and dry humping Rollin' J's. Headlined by #1 Power-Ranked Jason Carpio and his thrilling 664 series, Ebowla celebrated a clean sweep over Rollin' J's. Across the ball return, Corey Weinfurt guided Rollin' J's with his above-average 582 despite his team getting swept. Ebowla leaps 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Rollin' J's sink 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: No Pinheads kept grabbing the balls of Quick Release. Topped by #1 Head-to-Head Phil Schroeder and his above-average 570 series, No Pinheads collected 3 wins against Quick Release. On the other side, Ryan Doll laid down the law in Quick Release with his below-average 529 despite his team notching only a single win. No Pinheads remains in 3rd place, while Quick Release remains in 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: BILFs took turns kicking the ball return with Split Happens. Demonstrating the prowess of Scott Murdock with his above-average 516 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler AJ Hofmann, BILFs celebrated a clean sweep over Split Happens. . With Split Happens forfeiting, all BILFs needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. BILFs leap 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Split Happens remain in 10th.

NEXT WEEK: - First, on lanes 19&20, 1st-place Sweep The Leg, Johnny will challenge 2nd-place Quick Release (hcp 90). Sweep The Leg is expected to roll a little low, yet still manage to sweep the series; while Quick Release is forecast to drop their average a bit while they endure a rough night.
- Moving to lanes 21&22, 3rd-place No Pinheads will spend some quality time with 4th-place Ebowla (hcp 96). No Pinheads might maintain their current strength as they just barely miss sweeping the series; while Ebowla ought to hold steady as they just barely avoid getting swept.
- Then, over on lanes 23&24, 5th-place Rollin' J's (hcp 52) will chill with 6th-place BOWLSH!T. Rollin' J's will likely maintain their current strength as they get swept; while BOWLSH!T will probably raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
- Next up, on lanes 25&26, 7th-place BILFs will meet with 8th-place WWJB (hcp 27). BILFs might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while WWJB ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 9th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 33) will tussle with 10th-place Split Happens. The Chicks are predicted to perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Split Happens are anticipated to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
