The fourth week of Fall 2009 saw four teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (196) and series (498) for the women. As for the men, John Boren snagged this week's high game with a 247, and high series was earned by Pat Searcy with a 677. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: BOWLSH!T matched wits with BILFs. Despite the strength of Travis Kleiner with his 443 series, BOWLSH!T accomplished only 1 win against BILFs. On the flipside, Scott Murdock mastered BILFs with his 488 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Derrick Grimpo) as his team took the series with 3 wins. BOWLSH!T leaps 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while BILFs move 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 21 & 22: WWJB had a delightful time with No Pinheads. Notwithstanding the leadership of Rich Foster with his below-average 411 series, WWJB got swept by No Pinheads. On the other side, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy called the shots for No Pinheads with his staggering 677 as they swept the competition. WWJB plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while No Pinheads move 1 spot to 3rd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Split Happens had some one-on-one time with Ebowla. Though reinforced by James Long with his 517 series, Split Happens got swept by Ebowla. On the adjacent lane, Jason Carpio oversaw Ebowla with his terrific 605 as they swept the competition. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while Ebowla moves 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Quick Release spent a romantic evening with Chicks With Balls. Led by Ryan Doll with his 578 series, Quick Release collected 3 wins against the Chicks. In the meantime, Andrea Caudillo commanded the Chicks with her above-average 498 despite her team notching only a single win. Quick Release remains in 2nd place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Rollin' J's sparred with Sweep The Leg, Johnny. Regardless of the star power of Jerry Krall with his 383 series, Rollin' J's accomplished only 1 win against Sweep The Leg. Meanwhile, David Codding showed off in Sweep The Leg with his 565 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Rollin' J's remains in 8th place, while Sweep The Leg remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Pat Searcy cleaned up Division 1, while Aubrey Moren mopped up Division 2. Ryan Simonet vanquished Division 3, and Amanda Duncan dominated Division 4. Finally, Derrick Grimpo (Division 4) spanked this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy holds the reins in Division 1; Aubrey Moren leads Division 2; Ryan Simonet reigns over Division 3; and Derrick Grimpo and Amanda Duncan are both in the driver's seat (on each other's laps?) in Division 4 in a tie.

- First, on lanes 19&20, 8th-place Rollin' J's (hcp 64) will compete against 4th-place Ebowla. Rollin' J's are expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Ebowla is forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.

- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 5th-place WWJB will meet with 9th-place BOWLSH!T (hcp 28). WWJB is predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with BOWLSH!T; while BOWLSH!T is anticipated to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
