The fourteenth week of Spring 2009 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (223) and series (595) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 232, and high series was earned by David Codding with a 655. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds tussled with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. With the strength of #1 Head-to-Head David Codding and his awe-inspiring 655 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Schlitz. On the adjacent lane, #1 Power-Ranked Angela Bradford showed off in Schlitz with her miraculous 595 despite her team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

On lanes 21 & 22: Sh!t, Another Season couldn't stop inappropriately groping XXX. Highlighting the skills of Cory Chorpenning with his above-average 598 series, Another Season celebrated a clean sweep over XXX. In the midst of this, Rich DeYoung called the shots for XXX with his above-average 521 despite his team getting swept. Sh!t, Another Season remains in 5th place, while XXX remains in 10th.

On lanes 23 & 24: No Pinheads waged a heated competition against Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Featuring Dennis Laube with his 493 series, No Pinheads collected 3 wins against Wonder Friends. . With Wonder Friends forfeiting, all No Pinheads needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. No Pinheads remains in 4th place, while Wonder Friends sink 1 spot to 9th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Rule 6B spent some quality time with Chicks With Balls. Reinforced by Adam Messner with his above-average 460 series, Rule 6B celebrated a clean sweep over the Chicks. Conversely, Janelle (Laube) Lamar mastered the Chicks with her above-average 457 despite her team getting swept. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Turkey Sandwich took turns kicking the ball return with WWJB. Showcasing Jason Carpio with his above-average 607 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against WWJB. Meanwhile, Most Valuable Bowler Rich Foster oversaw WWJB with his stupendous 490 despite his team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich leaps 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB remains in 6th.

Bowlers slipping into The 200 Club include: Angela Bradford (223,219), Carl Goetz (211), Cory Chorpenning (205,224), David Codding (224,224,207), Duncan Ferber (202), Jason Carpio (232,223), Ken M. Wilson (226), and Scott Murdock (221)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though David Codding came closest), while Rob Kaszuba had his way with Division 2. Janelle (Laube) Lamar claimed victory in Division 3, and Rich Foster won Division 4. Finally, Cory Chorpenning (Division 1) topped this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz reigns over Division 1; Phil Schroeder governs Division 2; Adam Messner is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Deena Slinkard leads Division 4.

• Finally, on lanes 27&28, 4th-place No Pinheads will match wits with 8th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 107). No Pinheads are predicted to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while the Chicks are anticipated to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
