The tweltfh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (220) and series (533) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Turkey Sandwich spent a romantic evening with No Pinheads. While headlined by Jason Carpio with his above-average 572 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by No Pinheads. On the other half of the score sheet, Phil Schroeder shined in No Pinheads with his wondrous 550 as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads jump 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls did battle with WWJB. Although blessed by Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 421 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. As for the opposition, Rich Foster laid down the law in WWJB with his fantastic 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds matched wits with Rule 6B. Featuring #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 595 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. Meanwhile, Ryan Doll dominated Rule 6B with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends shared a few beers with Sh!t, Another Season. Led by #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Housknecht and his amazing 489 series, Wonder Friends celebrated a clean sweep over Another Season. On the adjacent lane, Duncan Ferber took the lead in Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX sparred with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. In spite of top-billing by Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. On the other side, Angela Bradford mastered Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz cleaned up Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Angela Bradford came closest). Adam Messner crushed Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Rich Foster came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) swept this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Ryan Housknecht (Division 4) swept this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz governs Division 1; Phil Schroeder reigns over Division 2; Adam Messner holds the reins in Division 3; and Deena Slinkard is in the driver's seat in Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place WWJB (hcp 16) will challenge 8th-place Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. WWJB is expected to perform well, but split the series with Wonder Friends; while Wonder Friends are forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
• Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Rule 6B will match wits with 9th-place Turkey Sandwich (hcp 42). Rule 6B might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Turkey Sandwich ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
