The second week of Fall 2008 saw four teams climb in the standings, while five teams slipped. Andrea Caudillo landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 445. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Is This Billable? matched wits with Chico's Bail Bonds. Regardless of the star power of Ryan Doll with his above-average 576 series, Is This Billable? accomplished only 1 win against Chico's. On the other half of the score sheet, Ken M. Wilson dominated Chico's with his 547 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Is This Billable? remains in 6th place, while Chico's plunge 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Bad Newz Kennels shared a few beers with Dios Mios. Though featuring Phil Schroeder with his above-average 476 series, the Kennels got swept by Dios Mios. Conversely, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Bill Krejci showed off in Dios Mios with his wondrous 630 as they swept the competition. Bad Newz Kennels plummet 3 spots in the standings to 8th place, while Dios Mios move 1 spot to 1st.

On lanes 23 & 24: Ain't No Sh!t chucked gutter balls with Dave and the Wingers. Headlined by Cory Chorpenning with his 582 series, Ain't No Sh!t celebrated a clean sweep over the Wingers. Concurrently, Dave Winger called the shots for the Wingers with his 367 despite his team getting swept. Ain't No Sh!t leaps 2 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while the Wingers sink 1 spot to 10th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Livin' On A Spare did battle with Bowl Movement. Topped by Tom Finley with his above-average 385 series, Livin' On A Spare split the series with Bowl Movement. On the flipside, Carter Collins shined in Bowl Movement with his above-average 387 as they matched their opponent in wins. Livin' On A Spare leaps 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Bowl Movement plunges 2 spots to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB faced off against Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. With the strength of Eric Summers with his spectacular 393 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Emily Podhajsky, WWJB celebrated a clean sweep over Spare The Rod. Simultaneously, Andrea Caudillo guided Spare The Rod with her (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 418 despite her team getting swept. WWJB leaps 3 spots in the standings to 4th place, while Spare The Rod sinks 1 spot to 9th.

The Tournament of Champions begins in 2 weeks. Here are how the divisions are shaping up so far:

• First, on lanes 19&20, 9th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty will face 7th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 74). Spare The Rod is expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Livin' On A Spare is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
• Moving to lanes 21&22, 10th-place Dave and the Wingers (hcp 32) will socialize with 4th-place WWJB. The Wingers might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while WWJB ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
• Then, over on lanes 23&24, 5th-place Bowl Movement (hcp 108) will roll against 8th-place Bad Newz Kennels. Bowl Movement will likely roll decently, yet still manage to get swept; while the Kennels will probably raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
• Next up, on lanes 25&26, 3rd-place Chico's Bail Bonds (hcp 81) will battle 2nd-place Ain't No Sh!t. Chico's might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Ain't No Sh!t ought to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
• Finally, on lanes 27&28, 1st-place Dios Mios will challenge 6th-place Is This Billable? (hcp 12). Dios Mios are predicted to roll a little low and lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Is This Billable? is anticipated to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
