The second week of Fall 2008 saw four teams climb in the standings, while five teams slipped. Andrea Caudillo landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 445. As for the men, Bill Krejci earned this week's high game (236) and series (630). Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Is This Billable? did battle with Chico's Bail Bonds. Even though highlighted by the skills of Ryan Doll with his above-average 576 series, Is This Billable? accomplished only 1 win against Chico's. Concurrently, Ken M. Wilson showed off in Chico's with his 547 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Is This Billable? remains in 6th place, while Chico's plunge 2 spots to 3rd.
On lanes 21 & 22: Bad Newz Kennels had a rendezvous with Dios Mios. Though featuring Phil Schroeder with his above-average 476 series, the Kennels got swept by Dios Mios. In the meantime, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Bill Krejci dominated Dios Mios with his stupendous 630 as they swept the competition. Bad Newz Kennels plummet 3 spots in the standings to 8th place, while Dios Mios move 1 spot to 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: Ain't No Sh!t shared a few beers with Dave and the Wingers. With the strength of Cory Chorpenning with his 582 series, Ain't No Sh!t celebrated a clean sweep over the Wingers. On the adjacent lane, Dave Winger oversaw the Wingers with his 367 despite his team getting swept. Ain't No Sh!t leaps 2 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while the Wingers sink 1 spot to 10th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Livin' On A Spare waged a heated competition against Bowl Movement. Demonstrating the prowess of Tom Finley with his above-average 385 series, Livin' On A Spare split the series with Bowl Movement. On the other half of the score sheet, Carter Collins commanded Bowl Movement with his above-average 387 as they matched their opponent in wins. Livin' On A Spare leaps 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Bowl Movement plunges 2 spots to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB sparred with Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. Led by Eric Summers with his powerful 393 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Emily Podhajsky, WWJB celebrated a clean sweep over Spare The Rod. In the midst of this, Andrea Caudillo shined in Spare The Rod with her (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 418 despite her team getting swept. WWJB leaps 3 spots in the standings to 4th place, while Spare The Rod sinks 1 spot to 9th.
