The Fall 2008 season is now underway, with ten teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (182) and series (494) for the women. As for the men, Ryan Doll snagged this week's high game with a 232, and high series was earned by Kendall Kukowski with a 583. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Bad Newz Kennels chucked gutter balls with Ain't No Sh!t. Led by Dennis Laube with his 482 series, the Kennels split the series with Ain't No Sh!t. While that was going down, #1 Head-to-Head Kendall Kukowski called the shots for Ain't No Sh!t with his dramatic 583 (with a nod to #1 Power-Ranked Duncan Ferber) as they matched their opponent in wins. Bad Newz Kennels leaves the gate in 5th place, while Ain't No Sh!t commences the season with 4th.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chico's Bail Bonds couldn't stop inappropriately groping Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. Reinforced by Ken M. Wilson with his 554 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Spare The Rod. Concurrently, Will Jeter mastered Spare The Rod with his phenomenal 528 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds starts out in 1st place, while Spare The Rod gets going with 8th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Livin' On A Spare kept stealing sips of beer from Dios Mios. Despite the strength of Tom Finley with his 344 series, Livin' On A Spare accomplished only 1 win against Dios Mios. Conversely, Bill Krejci shined in Dios Mios with his 482 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Livin' On A Spare gets underway in 10th place, while Dios Mios start off with 2nd.

On lanes 25 & 26: Is This Billable? faced off against WWJB. Starring Ryan Doll with his 524 series, Is This Billable? split the series with WWJB. In the meantime, Justin Wehrman commanded WWJB with his 446 as they matched their opponent in wins. Is This Billable? begins with 6th place, while WWJB begins in 7th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Dave and the Wingers celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Bowl Movement. Notwithstanding the leadership of Rob Kaszuba with his 370 series, the Wingers accomplished only 1 win against Bowl Movement. Countering this, Carter Collins reigned supreme in Bowl Movement with his 366 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Patty Morrisey) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Dave and the Wingers 9th place, while Bowl Movement 3rd.

The Tournament of Champions begins in 3 weeks. Here are how the divisions are shaping up so far:

• First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place Is This Billable? (estimated hcp 80) will socialize with 1st-place Chico's Bail Bonds. Is This Billable? is expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Chico's are forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
