Fall 2007 Week 16 Robo-RecapThe Fall 2007 season draws to a close, with Sh!t, I Don't Know officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Janelle (Laube) Lamar landed this week's high game for the women with a 180, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 470. As for the men, Don Glasscock earned this week's high game (239) and series (683). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Sh!t, I Don't Know couldn't stop inappropriately groping Bad Newz Kennels. Demonstrating the prowess of Cory Chorpenning with his 570 series, I Don't Know collected 3 wins against the Kennels. Countering this, Carl Goetz laid down the law in the Kennels with his 526 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, I Don't Know complete in 1st place, while the Kennels wind up in 2nd.

week16On lanes 21 & 22: Seefeldt the Glasscock accepted a challenge by Dios Mios. Led by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Don Glasscock and his 683 series, the Glasscock collected 3 wins against Dios Mios. On the other half of the score sheet, Bill Krejci took the lead in Dios Mios with his below-average 525 despite his team notching only a single win. Seefeldt the Glasscock end in 3rd place, while Dios Mios go home with 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Cannonbelt Run alternated between bowling and dry humping Split Happens. Starring Seth Gunderson with his 495 series, Cannonbelt celebrated a clean sweep over Split Happens. . With Split Happens forfeiting, all Cannonbelt needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. Cannonbelt Run finish in 5th place, while Split Happens end up with 6th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Ebowla had a rendezvous with The GameCox. Although blessed by Travis Kleiner with his 415 series, Ebowla got swept by the GameCox. On the adjacent lane, Jason Carpio showed off in the GameCox with his 485 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Janelle Laube) as they swept the competition. Ebowla plummets 2 spots in the standings to end the season in 9th place, while the GameCox jumps 2 spots to come out in 7th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Your Mom took turns kicking the ball return with Seriously Handicapped. Topped by Ryan Doll with his 560 series, Your Mom collected 3 wins against the Handicapped. On the flipside, Tyler Hilker called the shots for the Handicapped with his 528 despite his team notching only a single win. Your Mom 8th place, while the Handicapped 10th.

Bowlers who stripped naked and shared a cozy hottub together in a back room at The 200 Club include: Cory Chorpenning (206), David Parre (219), and Don Glasscock (228,216,239)

After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Tyler Hilker (Division 2), with Cory Chorpenning (Division 1) landing in second place. Tyler will pocket the nice first-place pot, while Cory will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!

Fall 2007 Week 15 Robo-RecapThe fifteenth week of Fall 2007 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (215) and series (529) for the women, while Don Glasscock earned this week's high game (266) and series (692) for the men. Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Seriously Handicapped tussled with Ebowla. Regardless of the star power of Tyler Hilker with his below-average 484 series, the Handicapped accomplished only 1 win against Ebowla. In the meantime, Travis Kleiner oversaw Ebowla with his above-average 452 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Seriously Handicapped remains in 10th place, while Ebowla remains in 7th.

week15On lanes 21 & 22: Your Mom shared a platter of cheese sticks with Sh!t, I Don't Know. Though featuring Ryan Doll with his below-average 503 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Carly Smith-Spydell, Your Mom accomplished only 1 win against I Don't Know. On the other half of the score sheet, #1 Head-to-Head Duncan Ferber showed off in I Don't Know with his above-average 653 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Your Mom remains in 8th place, while I Don't Know remains in 1st.

On lanes 23 & 24: The GameCox deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Dios Mios. Despite the strength of Jason Carpio with his 531 series, the GameCox accomplished only 1 win against Dios Mios. On the other side, Bill Krejci shined in Dios Mios with his 548 as his team took the series with 3 wins. The GameCox remains in 9th place, while Dios Mios sink 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Bad Newz Kennels alternated splits with Split Happens. Topped by Freda Schroeder with her above-average 529 series, the Kennels collected 3 wins against Split Happens. Concurrently, Nick Allegri ruled Split Happens with his below-average 454 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels remains in 2nd place, while Split Happens remain in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Seefeldt the Glasscock spent some quality time with Cannonbelt Run. Demonstrating the prowess of #1 Power-Ranked Don Glasscock and his above-average 692 series, the Glasscock celebrated a clean sweep over Cannonbelt. Simultaneously, Nik Domann called the shots for Cannonbelt with his below-average 472 despite his team getting swept. Seefeldt the Glasscock leaps 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Cannonbelt remains in 5th.

Bowlers rolling into The 200 Club include: Brian Eye (205,210), Carl Goetz (215), Cory Chorpenning (213), Don Glasscock (266,213,213), Duncan Ferber (227,226,200), Freda Schroeder (215), and Jason Carpio (211)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Bill Krejci came closest), while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Will Jeter came closest). Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Seth Gunderson came closest), and Shaun Crockett creamed Division 4. Finally, Duncan Ferber (Division 1) vanquished this week's Interdivisional bracket. Congratulations to our division champions! The following eight people will compete next week for the big prize! Division 2: Nik Domann and Tyler Hilker. Division 3: Jennifer SeefeldtDivision 4: Travis Kleiner and Ben Carmean.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 19&20, 1st-place Sh!t, I Don't Know will test their mettle against 2nd-place Bad Newz Kennels (hcp 38). I Don't Know is expected to roll a little low, but split the series with the Kennels; while the Kennels are forecast to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Seefeldt the Glasscock will socialize with 4th-place Dios Mios (hcp 103). The Glasscock might roll a little low, yet still manage to just barely miss sweeping the series; while Dios Mios ought to hold steady as they just barely avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 5th-place Cannonbelt Run will spend some quality time with 6th-place Split Happens (hcp 27). Cannonbelt will likely roll decently and just barely miss sweeping the series; while Split Happens will probably hold steady as they just barely avoid getting swept.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 7th-place Ebowla (hcp 54) will compete against 9th-place The GameCox. Ebowla might maintain their current strength as they get swept; while the GameCox ought to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 8th-place Your Mom will match wits with 10th-place Seriously Handicapped (hcp 30). Your Mom is predicted to perform well and win the series; while the Handicapped is anticipated to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
