Fall 2007 Week 13 Robo-RecapThe thirteenth week of Fall 2007 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Jennifer Seefeldt picked up this week's high game (156) and series (426) for the women, while Don Glasscock earned this week's high game (246) and series (661) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Split Happens entered a showdown to the death with Your Mom. Highlighting the skills of Nick Allegri with his 490 series, Split Happens collected 3 wins against Your Mom. In the midst of this, Ryan Doll called the shots for Your Mom with his 516 despite his team notching only a single win. Split Happens remains in 6th place, while Your Mom sinks 1 spot to 9th.

week13On lanes 21 & 22: The GameCox deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Ebowla. Regardless of the star power of Jason Carpio with his below-average 476 series, the GameCox got swept by Ebowla. Simultaneously, #1 Head-to-Head and Most Valuable Bowler Tom Finley drew the spotlight in Ebowla with his marvelous 465 as they swept the competition. The GameCox drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Ebowla jumps 2 spots to 7th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, I Don't Know waged a heated competition against Cannonbelt Run. Showcasing Cory Chorpenning with his 592 series, I Don't Know collected 3 wins against Cannonbelt. On the other half of the score sheet, #1 Power-Ranked Nik Domann dominated Cannonbelt with his miraculous 601 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, I Don't Know remains in 2nd place, while Cannonbelt remains in 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Seefeldt the Glasscock tussled with Dios Mios. Headlined by Don Glasscock with his 661 series, the Glasscock split the series with Dios Mios. Conversely, Bill Krejci reigned supreme in Dios Mios with his 549 as they matched their opponent in wins. Seefeldt the Glasscock remains in 4th place, while Dios Mios remain in 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Seriously Handicapped did battle with Bad Newz Kennels. Although blessed by Sabrina Gray with her above-average 364 series, the Handicapped accomplished only 1 win against the Kennels. Across the ball return, Carl Goetz showed off in the Kennels with his 538 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Seriously Handicapped remains in 10th place, while the Kennels remain in 1st.

Bowlers who stripped naked and shared a cozy hottub together in a back room at The 200 Club include: Brian Eye (212), Carl Goetz (211), Chris Lewis (210), Cory Chorpenning (209), David Parre (201), Dennis Laube (200), Don Glasscock (246,225), Duncan Ferber (210), and Nik Domann (223,228)

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Kendall Kukowski (534, previous best 529).

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Duncan Ferber creamed Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Will Jeter came closest). David Parre trounced Division 3, and Travis Kleiner spanked Division 4. Finally, Nik Domann (Division 2) whipped this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Duncan Ferber runs the show in Division 1; Nik Domann is in the driver's seat in Division 2; David Parre holds the reins in Division 3; and Travis Kleiner dominates Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place Bad Newz Kennels (hcp 78) will compete against 2nd-place Sh!t, I Don't Know. The Kennels are expected to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while I Don't Know is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they endure a rough night.
  • Moving to lanes 19&20, 10th-place Seriously Handicapped (hcp 185) will throw some gutter balls with 3rd-place Dios Mios. The Handicapped might perform well and win the series; while Dios Mios ought to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 21&22, 4th-place Seefeldt the Glasscock will challenge 9th-place Your Mom (hcp 307). The Glasscock will likely see their averages fall off a cliff, yet still manage to win the series; while Your Mom will probably hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Next up, on lanes 23&24, 8th-place The GameCox (hcp 78) will hang out with 5th-place Cannonbelt Run. The GameCox might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Cannonbelt ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Finally, on lanes 25&26, 7th-place Ebowla (hcp 132) will chill with 6th-place Split Happens. Ebowla is predicted to perform well, yet still manage to get swept; while Split Happens are anticipated to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
