The tweltfh week of Fall 2007 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (206) and series (497) for the women, while Don Glasscock earned this week's high game (226) and series (603) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Ebowla had a delightful time with Seefeldt the Glasscock. Led by Travis Kleiner with his above-average 434 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Brian Henderson, Ebowla celebrated a clean sweep over the Glasscock. On the other half of the score sheet, Don Glasscock guided the Glasscock with his below-average 603 despite his team getting swept. Ebowla remains in 9th place, while the Glasscock plunges 2 spots to 4th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Cannonbelt Run hung out with Split Happens. Though featuring Nik Domann with his above-average 544 series, Cannonbelt accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. Meanwhile, #1 Head-to-Head Ben Carmean called the shots for Split Happens with his miraculous 490 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Cannonbelt Run drops 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Split Happens move 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Bad Newz Kennels spent some quality time with The GameCox. Blessed by Freda Schroeder with her 497 series, the Kennels celebrated a clean sweep over the GameCox. As for the opposition, Jim Jeter drew the spotlight in the GameCox with his 413 despite his team getting swept. Bad Newz Kennels leap 2 spots in the standings to 1st place, while the GameCox sinks 1 spot to 7th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Your Mom entered a showdown to the death with Seriously Handicapped. Showcasing #1 Power-Ranked John Richardson and his astonishing 527 series, Your Mom celebrated a clean sweep over the Handicapped. Countering this, Tyler Hilker ruled the Handicapped with his 498 despite his team getting swept. Your Mom remains in 8th place, while the Handicapped remains in 10th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Dios Mios sparred with Sh!t, I Don't Know. Reinforced by Kris Hiestand with his 401 series, Dios Mios collected 3 wins against I Don't Know. Concurrently, Cory Chorpenning laid down the law in I Don't Know with his below-average 562 despite his team notching only a single win. Dios Mios leap 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while I Don't Know sinks 1 spot to 2nd.
Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: Cory Chorpenning (219), Don Glasscock (208,226), Freda Schroeder (206), John Richardson (201), and Nik Domann (211,200)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 1 as it was a complete embarassment, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Freda Schroeder came closest). Chris Lewis vanquished Division 3, and Ben Carmean eradicated Division 4. Finally, Will Jeter (Division 2) creamed this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Duncan Ferber governs Division 1; Nik Domann dominates Division 2; David Parre runs the show in Division 3; and Janelle (Laube) Lamar and Travis Kleiner reign over Division 4 in a tie.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place Split Happens will share a couple of pitchers with 8th-place Your Mom (hcp 40). Split Happens are expected to perform well and sweep the series; while Your Mom is forecast to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
- Moving to lanes 21&22, 7th-place The GameCox will compete against 9th-place Ebowla (hcp 56). The GameCox might perform well and sweep the series; while Ebowla ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
- Then, over on lanes 23&24, 2nd-place Sh!t, I Don't Know will match wits with 5th-place Cannonbelt Run (hcp 68). I Don't Know will likely have a bit of an off night, yet still manage to win the series; while Cannonbelt will probably hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Next up, on lanes 25&26, 4th-place Seefeldt the Glasscock will battle 3rd-place Dios Mios (hcp 103). The Glasscock might roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Dios Mios ought to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 10th-place Seriously Handicapped (hcp 129) will hang out with 1st-place Bad Newz Kennels. The Handicapped is predicted to perform well, yet still manage to get swept; while the Kennels are anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
