The Fall 2007 season is now underway, with ten teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (209) and series (477) for the women, while Brian Eye earned this week's high game (234) and series (640) for the men. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Seefeldt the Glasscock tussled with Seriously Handicapped. Topped by #1 Power-Ranked Brian Eye and his 640 series, the Glasscock collected 3 wins against the Handicapped. On the other half of the score sheet, Tyler Hilker drew the spotlight in the Handicapped with his terrific 554 despite his team notching only a single win. Seefeldt the Glasscock gets underway in 2nd place, while the Handicapped starts off with 8th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Bad Newz Kennels shared a few beers with Cannonbelt Run. With top billing by Carl Goetz with his 557 series, the Kennels collected 3 wins against Cannonbelt. Simultaneously, Nik Domann oversaw Cannonbelt with his 501 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels leaves the gate in 3rd place, while Cannonbelt gets going with 6th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, I Don't Know matched wits with Ebowla. Led by Duncan Ferber with his 532 series, I Don't Know collected 3 wins against Ebowla. While that was going down, Travis Kleiner dominated Ebowla with his 393 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, I Don't Know begins the season in 4th place, while Ebowla gets rolling in 9th.
On lanes 25 & 26: The GameCox had a rendezvous with Split Happens. Reinforced by Jason Carpio with his 496 series, the GameCox collected 3 wins against Split Happens. On the other side, James Long ruled Split Happens with his 520 despite his team notching only a single win. The GameCox begins with 5th place, while Split Happens commence the season with 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Your Mom accepted a challenge by Dios Mios. Although blessed by Ryan Doll with his 493 series, Your Mom got swept by Dios Mios. Concurrently, #1 Head-to-Head John Boren commanded Dios Mios with his 558 as they swept the competition. Your Mom 10th place, while Dios Mios 1st.
