Fall 2007 Week 1 Robo-RecapThe Fall 2007 season is now underway, with ten teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (209) and series (477) for the women, while Brian Eye earned this week's high game (234) and series (640) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Seefeldt the Glasscock shared a platter of cheese sticks with Seriously Handicapped. With the strength of #1 Power-Ranked Brian Eye and his 640 series, the Glasscock collected 3 wins against the Handicapped. Simultaneously, Tyler Hilker shined in the Handicapped with his exceptional 554 despite his team notching only a single win. Seefeldt the Glasscock gets underway in 2nd place, while the Handicapped begins in 8th.

week1On lanes 21 & 22: Bad Newz Kennels chucked gutter balls with Cannonbelt Run. Starring Carl Goetz with his 557 series, the Kennels collected 3 wins against Cannonbelt. Countering this, Nik Domann called the shots for Cannonbelt with his 501 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels starts out in 3rd place, while Cannonbelt commences the season with 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, I Don't Know kept stealing sips of beer from Ebowla. Headlined by Duncan Ferber with his 532 series, I Don't Know collected 3 wins against Ebowla. In the midst of this, Travis Kleiner showed off in Ebowla with his 393 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, I Don't Know begins the season in 4th place, while Ebowla gets rolling in 9th.

On lanes 25 & 26: The GameCox alternated between bowling and dry humping Split Happens. Blessed by Jason Carpio with his 496 series, the GameCox collected 3 wins against Split Happens. In the meantime, James Long guided Split Happens with his 520 despite his team notching only a single win. The GameCox leaves the gate in 5th place, while Split Happens start off with 7th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Your Mom sparred with Dios Mios. Despite being led by Ryan Doll with his 493 series, Your Mom got swept by Dios Mios. On the other side, #1 Head-to-Head John Boren commanded Dios Mios with his 558 as they swept the competition. Your Mom 10th place, while Dios Mios 1st.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Amanda Cox Jeter (163, previous best 158). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Amanda Cox Jeter (461, previous best 446).

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 5th-place The GameCox (estimated hcp 23) will hang out with 3rd-place Bad Newz Kennels. The GameCox is expected to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while the Kennels are forecast to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 2nd-place Seefeldt the Glasscock will face 9th-place Ebowla (hcp 205). The Glasscock might roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Ebowla ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 8th-place Seriously Handicapped (hcp 24) will battle 10th-place Your Mom. The Handicapped will likely maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Your Mom; while Your Mom will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 4th-place Sh!t, I Don't Know will chuck some balls with 1st-place Dios Mios (estimated estimated hcp 47). I Don't Know might maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Dios Mios; while Dios Mios ought to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 7th-place Split Happens (estimated estimated hcp 140) will match wits with 6th-place Cannonbelt Run. Split Happens are predicted to awe-inspiring and sweep the series; while Cannonbelt is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
