The Spring 2007 season draws to a close, with Guttersluts officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (189) and series (527) for the women. As for the men, Duncan Ferber snagged this week's high game with a 225, and high series was earned by Bill Krejci with a 621. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts alternated splits with Oily Balls. Led by #1 Head-to-Head Bill Krejci and his breathtaking 621 series, Guttersluts collected 3 wins against Oily Balls. In the meantime, Pat Searcy called the shots for Oily Balls with his 575 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts close out in 1st place, while Oily Balls go home with 2nd.
On lanes 17 & 18: X9XX spent some quality time with Unstoppabowl. Though featuring Stefan Miller with his above-average 546 series, X9XX accomplished only 1 win against Unstoppabowl. On the other side, Cory Chorpenning showed off in Unstoppabowl with his below-average 510 as his team took the series with 3 wins. X9XX drops 1 spot in the standings to end in 4th place, while Unstoppabowl moves 1 spot to end up with 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Doll's Balls kept stealing sips of beer from Those 4 Bowlers. With top billing by Ryan Doll with his above-average 562 series, Doll's Balls collected 3 wins against 4 Bowlers. Across the ball return, Seth Gunderson laid down the law in 4 Bowlers with his above-average 586 despite his team notching only a single win. Doll's Balls complete in 5th place, while 4 Bowlers sink 1 spot to wind up in 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: King Pins hung out with Frickin' Ten Pin. Reinforced by John Coleman with his 569 series, King Pins collected 3 wins against Ten Pin. While that was going down, Carl Goetz commanded Ten Pin with his below-average 530 despite his team notching only a single win. King Pins leap 1 spot in the standings to end the season in 6th place, while Ten Pin cross the finish line in 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Churn and Burn sparred with T.B.D.. Although blessed by James Cholke with his above-average 508 series, Churn and Burn got swept by T.B.D.. On the other half of the score sheet, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Tyler Hilker guided T.B.D. with his marvelous 535 as they swept the competition. Churn and Burn drops 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while T.B.D. moves 1 spot to 9th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Bill Krejci (621, previous best 595).
After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Stefan Miller (Division 2), with Kendall Kukowski (Division 4) landing in second place. Stefan will pocket the nice first-place pot, while Kendall will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!
