The Spring 2007 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! The tenth week saw three teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (176) and series (488) for the women, while John Boren earned this week's high game (267) and series (701) for the men. First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts spent some quality time with Oily Balls. With the strength of #1 Power-Ranked John Boren and his stunning 701 series, Guttersluts celebrated a clean sweep over Oily Balls. On the adjacent lane, Pat Searcy commanded Oily Balls with his below-average 537 despite his team getting swept. Guttersluts remains in 1st place, while Oily Balls plunge 2 spots to 4th.
On lanes 17 & 18: Unstoppabowl celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with X9XX. Blessed by Cory Chorpenning with his 562 series, Unstoppabowl split the series with X9XX. As for the opposition, Don Glasscock laid down the law in X9XX with his above-average 677 as they matched their opponent in wins. Unstoppabowl leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while X9XX moves 1 spot to 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Those 4 Bowlers shared a platter of cheese sticks with Churn and Burn. Featuring Seth Gunderson with his dazzling 620 series, 4 Bowlers collected 3 wins against Churn and Burn. While that was going down, Jason Carpio oversaw Churn and Burn with his below-average 492 despite his team notching only a single win. Those 4 Bowlers remains in 5th place, while Churn and Burn remains in 6th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Frickin' Ten Pin couldn't stop inappropriately groping Doll's Balls. While headlined by Carl Goetz with his above-average 595 series, Ten Pin accomplished only 1 win against Doll's Balls. Simultaneously, #1 Head-to-Head and Most Valuable Bowler John Richardson took the lead in Doll's Balls with his stupendous 564 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Frickin' Ten Pin drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Doll's Balls move 1 spot to 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: King Pins deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of T.B.D.. Highlighting the skills of Duncan Ferber with his above-average 591 series, King Pins split the series with T.B.D.. Countering this, Steve Kiernan reigned supreme in T.B.D. with his above-average 579 as they matched their opponent in wins. King Pins remains in 9th place, while T.B.D. remains in 10th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: John Boren spanked Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Seth Gunderson came closest). John Richardson creamed Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Emily Austin came closest). Finally, Freda Schroeder (Division 2) dominated this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Kendall Kukowski (Division 4) dominated this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: John Boren holds the reins in Division 1; Seth Gunderson governs Division 2; Deena Slinkard and Dave Hickerson dominate Division 3 in a tie; and Kendall Kukowski reigns over Division 4.
