Spring 2007 Week 3 Robo-RecapThe third week of Spring 2007 saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Three bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (206) and series (560) for the women, while Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (268) and series (662) for the men. And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Those 4 Bowlers couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Unstoppabowl. Regardless of the star power of Scott Murdock with his below-average 403 series, 4 Bowlers accomplished only 1 win against Unstoppabowl. Countering this, Cory Chorpenning guided Unstoppabowl with his 550 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Those 4 Bowlers remains in 5th place, while Unstoppabowl moves 1 spot to 3rd.

week3On lanes 17 & 18: King Pins kept grabbing the balls of Churn and Burn. Though reinforced by Duncan Ferber with his above-average 584 series, King Pins accomplished only 1 win against Churn and Burn. Concurrently, Jason Carpio called the shots for Churn and Burn with his 485 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Emily Austin) as his team took the series with 3 wins. King Pins remains in 10th place, while Churn and Burn jumps 3 spots to 6th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Frickin' Ten Pin hung out with Oily Balls. Though featuring Freda Schroeder with her astounding 560 series, Ten Pin got swept by Oily Balls. While that was going down, Ken M. Wilson oversaw Oily Balls with his fantastic 662 as they swept the competition. Frickin' Ten Pin plummets 2 spots in the standings to 8th place, while Oily Balls remain in 2nd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Doll's Balls shared a platter of cheese sticks with T.B.D.. With top billing by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ryan Doll and his awe-inspiring 647 series, Doll's Balls collected 3 wins against T.B.D.. On the flipside, Steve Kiernan showed off in T.B.D. with his 563 despite his team notching only a single win. Doll's Balls leap 4 spots in the standings to 4th place, while T.B.D. plunges 2 spots to 9th.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: X9XX had some one-on-one time with Guttersluts. Even though highlighted by the skills of Thomas Lin with his above-average 585 series, X9XX got swept by Guttersluts. On the adjacent lane, John Boren reigned supreme in Guttersluts with his above-average 609 as they swept the competition. X9XX plummets 4 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Guttersluts remain in 1st.

Bowlers sneaking into The 200 Club include: Carl Goetz (205), Cory Chorpenning (210), Duncan Ferber (209), Freda Schroeder (206), John Boren (216,231), Ken M. Wilson (268,213), Ryan Doll (237,226), Steve Kiernan (236), and Thomas Lin (202,201)


A new personal high game was set tonight by Ryan Doll (237, previous best 234). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Kris Hiestand (471, previous best 450), Ryan Doll (647, previous best 591), and Ariel Waldman (389, previous best 369).

Freda Schroeder earned both this season's women's high game and series with her 206 and 560, respectively. In addition, Ken M. Wilson nabbed both high game and series for the men this season with his 268 and 662, respectively.

The 268 rolled by Ken M. Wilson is tied for the 5th-best game in league history!
The 560 rolled by Freda Schroeder is tied for the 9th-best women's series in league history!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts faced off against Doll's Balls. Highlighting the skills of John Boren with his astonishing 601 series, Guttersluts collected 3 wins against Doll's Balls. Simultaneously, John Richardson took the lead in Doll's Balls with his above-average 447 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts leap 2 spots in the standings to 1st place, while Doll's Balls plunge 3 spots to 8th.

week2On lanes 17 & 18: Oily Balls celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with X9XX. Despite being led by Ken M. Wilson with his 542 series, Oily Balls accomplished only 1 win against X9XX. Concurrently, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Dennis Laube laid down the law in X9XX with his terrific 552 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Spring 2007 Week 1 Robo-RecapThe Spring 2007 season is now underway, with ten teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. One bowler set a new personal best series. Freda Schroeder landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Angela Bradford with a 465. As for the men, Carl Goetz snagged this week's high game with a 234, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz and Pat Searcy, who tied with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Oily Balls did battle with T.B.D.. Highlighting the skills of Pat Searcy with his 595 series, Oily Balls celebrated a clean sweep over T.B.D.. Across the ball return, Steve Kiernan took the lead in T.B.D. with his 528 despite his team getting swept. Oily Balls leaves the gate in 1st place, while T.B.D. starts off with 10th.

week1On lanes 17 & 18: Doll's Balls faced off against Those 4 Bowlers. Demonstrating the prowess of Ryan Doll with his 487 series, Doll's Balls split the series with 4 Bowlers. On the other half of the score sheet, Seth Gunderson oversaw 4 Bowlers with his 470 as they matched their opponent in wins. Doll's Balls begins with 5th place, while 4 Bowlers get going with 6th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Unstoppabowl kept grabbing the balls of X9XX. Reinforced by #1 Head-to-Head Cory Chorpenning and his 584 series, Unstoppabowl split the series with X9XX. On the flipside, Dave Hickerson shined in X9XX with his 424 as they matched their opponent in wins. Unstoppabowl gets underway in 4th place, while X9XX gets rolling in 7th.
