Led by Ryan Doll with his above-average 525 series, Not Gutter celebrated a clean sweep over Frickin' Ten Pins. Countering this, Carl Goetz oversaw Frickin' Ten Pins with his above-average 588 despite his team getting swept. I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter leaps 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Frickin' Ten Pins remain in 6th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Manute Bowl kept stealing sips of beer from Split Happens. While headlined by Andy McLeod with his astonishing 519 series, Manute Bowl got swept by Split Happens. In the midst of this, Most Valuable Bowler Amy Logan guided Split Happens with her fantastic 433 as they swept the competition. Manute Bowl drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Split Happens move 1 spot to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Hez-Bowl-lah took turns kicking the ball return with Bowlkake2. Notwithstanding the leadership of Rich DeYoung with his above-average 535 series, Hez-Bowl-lah accomplished only 1 win against Bowlkake2. Across the ball return, Thomas Lin commanded Bowlkake2 with his 566 (with a nod to #1 Power-Ranked Dave Hickerson) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hez-Bowl-lah remains in 1st place, while Bowlkake2 remains in 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: New Balls, Old Rack accepted a challenge by All Belts Are Off. With the strength of #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson and his stunning 655 series, the Old Rack split the series with the Belt. Conversely, Seth Gunderson took the lead in the Belt with his exceptional 545 as they matched their opponent in wins. New Balls, Old Rack drops 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while the Belt remains in 5th.

Congratulations to our division champions! The following eight people will compete next week for the big prize!

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 15&16, 1st-place Hez-Bowl-lah (hcp 15) will spend some quality time with 2nd-place Bowlkake2. Hez-Bowl-lah is expected to perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Bowlkake2 is forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 17&18, 3rd-place Split Happens (hcp 63) will hang out with 4th-place New Balls, Old Rack. Split Happens might perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Old Rack ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Then, over on lanes 19&20, 5th-place All Belts Are Off will chill with 6th-place Frickin' Ten Pins (hcp 38). The Belt will likely roll decently, but split the series with Frickin' Ten Pins; while Frickin' Ten Pins will probably raise their average while they keep the series tied.
  • Next up, on lanes 21&22, 7th-place TBD will match wits with 8th-place I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter (hcp 25). TBD might perform well and win the series; while Not Gutter ought to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
  • Finally, on lanes 23&24, 9th-place Manute Bowl will throw some gutter balls with 10th-place Guttersluts (hcp 71). Manute Bowl is predicted to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Guttersluts are anticipated to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
