The Fall 2006 season draws to a close, with Bowlkake2 officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (257) and series (648) for the women. As for the men, John Boren snagged this week's high game with a 223, and high series was earned by Andy McLeod with a 587. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Hez-Bowl-lah faced off against Bowlkake2. Though reinforced by Rich DeYoung with his above-average 537 series, Hez-Bowl-lah accomplished only 1 win against Bowlkake2. On the flipside, Dennis Laube shined in Bowlkake2 with his above-average 522 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hez-Bowl-lah plummets 2 spots in the standings to close out in 3rd place, while Bowlkake2 moves 1 spot to go home with 1st.

On lanes 17 & 18: Split Happens shared a few beers with New Balls, Old Rack. In spite of top-billing by Nick Allegri with his above-average 507 series, Split Happens got swept by the Old Rack. While that was going down, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Angela Bradford guided the Old Rack with her wondrous 648 as they swept the competition. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to end the season in 4th place, while the Old Rack jumps 2 spots to come out in 2nd.

On lanes 19 & 20: All Belts Are Off accepted a challenge by Frickin' Ten Pins. Headlined by David Codding with his 561 series, the Belt split the series with Frickin' Ten Pins. Conversely, Carl Goetz dominated Frickin' Ten Pins with his above-average 570 as they matched their opponent in wins. All Belts Are Off complete in 5th place, while Frickin' Ten Pins end up with 6th.

On lanes 21 & 22: TBD entered a showdown to the death with I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter. Demonstrating the prowess of Greg Middleton with his breathtaking 504 series, TBD split the series with Not Gutter. Meanwhile, Ryan Doll drew the spotlight in Not Gutter with his above-average 566 as they matched their opponent in wins. TBD finish in 7th place, while Not Gutter sinks 1 spot to wind up in 9th.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Manute Bowl spent some quality time with Guttersluts. Showcasing Most Valuable Bowler Andy McLeod and his stunning 587 series, Manute Bowl collected 3 wins against the Guttersluts. On the other half of the score sheet, John Boren ruled the Guttersluts with his below-average 532 despite his team notching only a single win. Manute Bowl leaps 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while the Guttersluts 10th.

Angela Bradford landed this week's high game for the women with a 198, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 485. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (238) and series (655).Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts had some one-on-one time with TBD. With the strength of John Boren with his 551 series, the Guttersluts collected 3 wins against TBD. Concurrently, David Parre reigned supreme in TBD with his 470 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts remains in 10th place, while TBD remains in 7th.

On lanes 17 & 18: I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter couldn't stop inappropriately groping Frickin' Ten Pins. Headlined by Ryan Doll with his above-average 525 series, Not Gutter celebrated a clean sweep over Frickin' Ten Pins. Meanwhile, Carl Goetz guided Frickin' Ten Pins with his above-average 588 despite his team getting swept. I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter leaps 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Frickin' Ten Pins remain in 6th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Manute Bowl entered a showdown to the death with Split Happens. In spite of the prowess of Andy McLeod with his awe-inspiring 519 series, Manute Bowl got swept by Split Happens. Across the ball return, Most Valuable Bowler Amy Logan showed off in Split Happens with her marvelous 433 as they swept the competition. Manute Bowl drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Split Happens move 1 spot to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Hez-Bowl-lah hung out with Bowlkake2. Even though highlighted by the skills of Rich DeYoung with his above-average 535 series, Hez-Bowl-lah accomplished only 1 win against Bowlkake2. Countering this, Thomas Lin shined in Bowlkake2 with his 566 (with a nod to #1 Power-Ranked Dave Hickerson) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hez-Bowl-lah remains in 1st place, while Bowlkake2 remains in 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: New Balls, Old Rack took turns kicking the ball return with All Belts Are Off. Led by #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson and his remarkable 655 series, the Old Rack split the series with the Belt. In the meantime, Seth Gunderson drew the spotlight in the Belt with his stupendous 545 as they matched their opponent in wins. New Balls, Old Rack drops 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while the Belt remains in 5th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson made quick work of Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Rich DeYoung came closest). Scott Murdock staked a claim for the Iron Throne in Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Nick Crofoot came closest).
