The fifteenth week of Spring 2006 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (181) and series (472) for the women. As for the men, Tim Segraves snagged this week's high game with a 246, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 644. Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Bora Bora had a delightful time with Yo Mama. Topped by Dennis Laube with his above-average 528 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder, Bora Bora collected 3 wins against Yo Mama. Countering this, Jason Caton oversaw Yo Mama with his 422 despite his team notching only a single win. Bora Bora remains in 3rd place, while Yo Mama sinks 1 spot to 7th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Tatonka kept grabbing the balls of I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka!. Despite the strength of Andy McLeod with his above-average 474 series, Tatonka got swept by the Belt. On the other side, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Rich DeYoung mastered the Belt with his staggering 629 as they swept the competition. Tatonka remains in 8th place, while the Belt remains in 1st.
On lanes 25 & 26: Guttersluts kept stealing sips of beer from Bowl Movement. Reinforced by Travis Kleiner with his amazing 469 series, Guttersluts celebrated a clean sweep over Bowl Movement. Meanwhile, Carl Goetz laid down the law in Bowl Movement with his above-average 644 despite his team getting swept. Guttersluts leap 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while Bowl Movement remains in 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Split Happens matched wits with Sweeter Than Yoohoo. Even though highlighted by the skills of James Long with his 547 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against Yoohoo. While that was going down, Tim Segraves took the lead in Yoohoo with his 534 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens remains in 5th place, while Yoohoo remains in 4th.

Congratulations to our division champions! The following eight people will compete next week for the big prize!
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 21&22, 1st-place I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! (hcp 740) will meet with 2nd-place Bowl Movement. The Belt is expected to have the bottom drop out of their averages as they get swept; while Bowl Movement is forecast to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Moving to lanes 23&24, 3rd-place Bora Bora will face 4th-place Sweeter Than Yoohoo. Bora Bora might have their averages plummet, but split the series with Yoohoo; while Yoohoo ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Then, over on lanes 25&26, 5th-place Split Happens (hcp 447) will roll against 6th-place Guttersluts. Split Happens will likely see a pretty significant "market correction" to their averages as they get swept; while Guttersluts will probably hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 7th-place Yo Mama will share a couple of pitchers with 8th-place Tatonka. Yo Mama is predicted to see their averages fall off a cliff, but split the series with Tatonka; while Tatonka is anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
