The Spring 2006 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (173) and series (501) for the women. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson snagged this week's high game with a 226, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 620. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Bowl Movement had some one-on-one time with Yo Mama. With top billing by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his 620 series, Bowl Movement collected 3 wins against Yo Mama. On the other half of the score sheet, Andy Metzler guided Yo Mama with his 471 despite his team notching only a single win. Bowl Movement leaves the gate in 2nd place, while Yo Mama gets going with 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Tatonka hung out with Split Happens. Notwithstanding the leadership of Andy McLeod with his dazzling 461 series, Tatonka accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. As for the opposition, James Long took the lead in Split Happens with his 519 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Amy Logan) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Tatonka starts out in 7th place, while Split Happens get rolling in 3rd.

On lanes 25 & 26: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! shared a few beers with Guttersluts. Starring Pat Searcy with his 524 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Guttersluts. On the flipside, Erin deVries laid down the law in Guttersluts with her 301 despite her team getting swept. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! begins with 1st place, while Guttersluts commence the season with 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Sweeter Than Yoohoo couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Bora Bora. Featuring Thomas Lin with his 518 series, Yoohoo split the series with Bora Bora. Simultaneously, Dennis Laube oversaw Bora Bora with his 588 as they matched their opponent in wins. Sweeter Than Yoohoo begins the season in 5th place, while Bora Bora starts off with 4th.

The Tournament of Champions begins in 3 weeks. Here are how the divisions are shaping up so far:
