Spring 2005 Week 3 Robo-RecapThe third week of Spring 2005 saw three teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (191) and series (485) for the women. As for the men, Bill Krejci snagged this week's high game with a 242, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 575. And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Handicrappers had some one-on-one time with Bowlingstar Galactica. Headlined by Bill Krejci with his above-average 567 series, Handicrappers collected 3 wins against the Galactica. In the midst of this, Jason Carpio shined in the Galactica with his above-average 515 despite his team notching only a single win. Handicrappers remains in 6th place, while the Galactica remains in 8th.

week3On lanes 21 & 22: All Belt, No Buckle alternated between bowling and dry humping Big Pin Pin. Featuring Demond Robinson with his 501 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Pin Pin. In the meantime, Mitch Wheeler mastered Pin Pin with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 407 despite his team getting swept. All Belt, No Buckle leaps 2 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while Pin Pin plunges 4 spots to 5th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sub Parre tussled with 4 Play. Although blessed by #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Andrew Fisher and his dazzling 429 series, Sub Parre accomplished only 1 win against 4 Play. Simultaneously, Bob Brunker took the lead in 4 Play with his 557 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Sub Parre remains in 7th place, while 4 Play moves 1 spot to 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Nellielocks and the 3 Spares had a delightful time with The Incredibowls. Reinforced by Rich DeYoung with his 521 series, Nellielocks split the series with The Incredibowls. On the other side, #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz dominated The Incredibowls with his above-average 575 as they matched their opponent in wins. Nellielocks and the 3 Spares remains in 3rd place, while The Incredibowls move 1 spot to 4th.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 1st-place 4 Play will chill with 4th-place The Incredibowls (hcp 66). 4 Play is expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while The Incredibowls are forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 7th-place Sub Parre (hcp 113) will test their mettle against 3rd-place Nellielocks and the 3 Spares. Sub Parre might perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Nellielocks ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 2nd-place All Belt, No Buckle will match wits with 6th-place Handicrappers (hcp 128). The Belt will likely maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Handicrappers will probably hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 25&26, 5th-place Big Pin Pin (hcp 39) will meet with 8th-place Bowlingstar Galactica. Pin Pin is predicted to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Galactica is anticipated to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
