Fall 2004 Week 11 Robo-RecapThe eleventh week of Fall 2004 saw four teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (193) and series (491) for the women. As for the men, Justin Strelow snagged this week's high game with a 231, and high series was earned by Pat Searcy with a 622. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers spent a romantic evening with A Solid No. 2. Headlined by Michael Basham with his above-average 475 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Ray Haynes, the Ninjas celebrated a clean sweep over No. 2. On the adjacent lane, Jason Carpio called the shots for No. 2 with his 448 despite his team getting swept. Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers leap 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while No. 2 plunges 3 spots to 7th.

week11On lanes 21 & 22: The Belt Strikes Back faced off against Die Schlag-Maschinen. Led by Demond Robinson with his 520 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Die Schlag-Maschinen. Concurrently, Mike Killion showed off in Die Schlag-Maschinen with his above-average 378 despite his team getting swept. The Belt Strikes Back leaps 1 spot in the standings to 1st place, while Die Schlag-Maschinen remains in 8th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Bowlkake sparred with Ashley Razabacks. Showcasing #1 Power-Ranked Justin Strelow and his breathtaking 621 series, Bowlkake celebrated a clean sweep over the Razabacks. Simultaneously, Stefan Paz drew the spotlight in the Razabacks with his 451 despite his team getting swept. Bowlkake leaps 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while the Razabacks plunge 3 spots to 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Paul Hamms hung out with Recreation Intoxication. Although blessed by Bill Krejci with his above-average 571 series, the Hamms got swept by Recreation . While that was going down, #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy guided Recreation with his above-average 622 as they swept the competition. Paul Hamms remains in 3rd place, while Recreation jumps 3 spots to 2nd.

Bowlers sneaking into The 200 Club include: Bill Krejci (212), Bob Brunker (205), Justin Strelow (201,231), Ken M. Wilson (202), Mark McClendon (209), Michael Basham (201), and Pat Searcy (221,201,200)

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Justin Strelow (621, previous best 609).

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Pat Searcy vanquished Division 1, while Seth Gunderson crushed Division 2. Scott Murdock decimated Division 3, and Ray Haynes got the better of Division 4. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy reigns over Division 1; Seth Gunderson tops Division 2; Janelle (Laube) Lamar governs Division 3; and Ray Haynes calls the shots for Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place Bowlkake will tussle with 3rd-place Paul Hamms (hcp 140). Bowlkake is expected to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while the Hamms are forecast to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Ashley Razabacks (hcp 80) will battle 2nd-place Recreation Intoxication. The Razabacks might maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Recreation ought to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 5th-place Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers (hcp 74) will meet with 1st-place The Belt Strikes Back. The Ninjas will likely roll decently, but split the series with the Belt; while the Belt will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 25&26, 7th-place A Solid No. 2 will throw some gutter balls with 8th-place Die Schlag-Maschinen (hcp 117). No. 2 is predicted to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Die Schlag-Maschinen is anticipated to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
