The second week of Fall 2004 saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (178) and series (510) for the women. As for the men, Corey Weinfurt snagged this week's high game with a 222, and high series was earned by Ken M. Wilson with a 601. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Die Schlag-Maschinen tussled with Ashley Razabacks. Led by Matt Killion with his 424 series, Die Schlag-Maschinen celebrated a clean sweep over the Razabacks. . With the Razabacks forfeiting, all Die Schlag-Maschinen needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. Die Schlag-Maschinen leaps 4 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while the Razabacks remain in 8th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Paul Hamms chucked gutter balls with Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers. In spite of top-billing by Bill Krejci with his below-average 481 series, the Hamms accomplished only 1 win against the Ninjas. Conversely, Dennis Laube shined in the Ninjas with his below-average 418 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Janelle Laube) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Paul Hamms plummet 3 spots in the standings to 6th place, while the Ninjas remain in 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: The Belt Strikes Back traded lane malfunctions with Recreation Intoxication. Although topped by Nik Domann with his 500 series, the Belt accomplished only 1 win against Recreation . On the other side, Bob Brunker drew the spotlight in Recreation with his 533 as his team took the series with 3 wins. The Belt Strikes Back plummets 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Recreation moves 1 spot to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Bowlkake waged a heated competition against A Solid No. 2. Showcasing #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson and his above-average 601 series, Bowlkake collected 3 wins against No. 2. In the meantime, Corey Weinfurt laid down the law in No. 2 with his above-average 583 despite his team notching only a single win. Bowlkake leaps 2 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while No. 2 plunges 2 spots to 4th.
Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: Corey Weinfurt (222), James Long (200), and Ken M. Wilson (206,209)
A new personal high game was set tonight by Corey Weinfurt (222, previous best 221).

NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place Paul Hamms (hcp 96) will chill with 5th-place Recreation Intoxication. The Hamms are expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Recreation is forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
- Moving to lanes 21&22, 2nd-place Bowlkake will match wits with 8th-place Ashley Razabacks (hcp 540). Bowlkake might roll a little low, yet still manage to sweep the series; while the Razabacks ought to see their team average take a dive while they endure a rough night.
- Then, over on lanes 23&24, 1st-place Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers (hcp 102) will hang out with 4th-place A Solid No. 2. The Ninjas will likely roll decently, but split the series with No. 2; while No. 2 will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 25&26, 7th-place The Belt Strikes Back will throw some gutter balls with 3rd-place Die Schlag-Maschinen (estimated hcp 129). The Belt is predicted to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Die Schlag-Maschinen is anticipated to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
