The eighth week of Spring 2004 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (192) and series (529) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (233) and series (600) for the men. First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Joey's B*tches faced off against T.R.O.T.B.. Led by Ken M. Wilson with his above-average 582 series, the B*tches celebrated a clean sweep over T.R.O.T.B.. On the other side, Nik Domann ruled T.R.O.T.B. with his above-average 530 despite his team getting swept. Joey's B*tches leap 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while T.R.O.T.B. remains in 6th.
On lanes 17 & 18: The Bowling Stones deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Recreation Intoxication. Regardless of the star power of Michael Basham with his above-average 447 series, the Stones got swept by Recreation. As for the opposition, Pat Searcy oversaw Recreation with his above-average 600 as they swept the competition. The Bowling Stones remains in 5th place, while Recreation moves 1 spot to 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 19 & 20: 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites sparred with Got Carpio?. Topped by Thomas Lin with his above-average 533 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Mary Jackson, the White Asians collected 3 wins against Got Carpio?. On the adjacent lane, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Eric Lynch called the shots for Got Carpio? with his above-average 589 despite his team notching only a single win. 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites drop 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Got Carpio? sinks 1 spot to 4th.
