The Spring 2004 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! The sixth week saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (208) and series (556) for the women, while Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (245) and series (693) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites took turns kicking the ball return with Joey's B*tches. Despite the strength of Dennis Laube with his 477 series, the White Asians got swept by the B*tches. On the adjacent lane, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson shined in the B*tches with his miraculous 693 as they swept the competition. 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites remains in 1st place, while the B*tches remain in 2nd.
On lanes 17 & 18: Got Carpio? waged a heated competition against The Bowling Stones. Topped by Most Valuable Bowler Eric Lynch and his splendid 595 series, Got Carpio? collected 3 wins against the Stones. Meanwhile, Scott Musgrove mastered the Stones with his marvelous 468 despite his team notching only a single win. Got Carpio? drops 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while the Stones sink 1 spot to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 19 & 20: Recreation Intoxication had a rendezvous with T.R.O.T.B.. Headlined by Bob Brunker with his amazing 601 series, Recreation celebrated a clean sweep over T.R.O.T.B.. As for the opposition, Nik Domann took the lead in T.R.O.T.B. with his 516 despite his team getting swept. Recreation Intoxication leaps 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while T.R.O.T.B. remains in 6th.
