By now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Spring 2004 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. The fifth week saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (180) and series (507) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (266) and series (708) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Joey's B*tches couldn't stop inappropriately groping The Bowling Stones. Showcasing #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his astounding 708 series, the B*tches split the series with the Stones. On the adjacent lane, Michael Basham showed off in the Stones with his commanding 456 as they matched their opponent in wins. Joey's B*tches leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while the Stones remain in 4th.
On lanes 17 & 18: 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites kept grabbing the balls of Recreation Intoxication. Highlighting the skills of Dennis Laube with his 505 series, the White Asians celebrated a clean sweep over Recreation. In the midst of this, Angela Bradford drew the spotlight in Recreation with her 507 despite her team getting swept. 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites remains in 1st place, while Recreation plunges 3 spots to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 19 & 20: T.R.O.T.B. sparred with Got Carpio?. In spite of the prowess of Scott Murdock with his remarkable 502 series, T.R.O.T.B. accomplished only 1 win against Got Carpio?. As for the opposition, Eric Lynch oversaw Got Carpio? with his stupendous 560 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Jason Carpio) as his team took the series with 3 wins. T.R.O.T.B. remains in 6th place, while Got Carpio? jumps 2 spots to 3rd.
Bowlers rolling into The 200 Club include: Carl Goetz (266,246), David Codding (208), and Eric Lynch (206)

Carl Goetz nabbed both high game and series for the men this season with his 266 and 708, respectively.
The 266 rolled by Carl Goetz is the new 2nd-best game in league history!
Carl Goetz SET THE NEW ALL-TIME HIGH SERIES WITH His 708! CONGRATULATIONS!
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 15&16, 1st-place 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites (hcp 53) will chuck some balls with 2nd-place Joey's B*tches. The White Asians are expected to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while the B*tches are forecast to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Moving to lanes 17&18, 3rd-place Got Carpio? will throw some gutter balls with 4th-place The Bowling Stones (hcp 109). Got Carpio? might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Stones ought to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
- Finally, on lanes 19&20, 5th-place Recreation Intoxication will socialize with 6th-place T.R.O.T.B. (hcp 47). Recreation is predicted to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while T.R.O.T.B. is anticipated to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
