First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Spare Change did battle with Wolverines. While headlined by Demond Robinson with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 465 series, Spare Change accomplished only 1 win against the Wolverines. On the adjacent lane, Dennis Laube commanded the Wolverines with his 442 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Spare Change drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Wolverines move 1 spot to 2nd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Anchors Aweigh! spent some quality time with Bowl me Ishmael!. Starring David Codding with his below-average 528 series, the Anchors missed a clean sweep over Ishmael by just one pin.Simultaneously, Paul Linder took the lead in Ishmael with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 354 as his team missed getting swept by just one pin. Anchors Aweigh! remains in 1st place, while Ishmael plunges 3 spots to 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Atomic Goo kept grabbing the balls of Bowlers of Mass Confusion. Despite being led by Steve Robinson with his above-average 499 series, Atomic Goo accomplished only 1 win against Mass Confusion. Countering this, Jason Carpio oversaw Mass Confusion with his stupendous 501 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Atomic Goo drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Mass Confusion jumps 2 spots to 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Gutter Minds shared a few beers with Theee Beeelt. With top billing by #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Angela Bradford and her remarkable 575 series, Gutter Minds split the series with Theee Beeelt. On the flipside, #1 Head-to-Head Nik Domann drew the spotlight in Theee Beeelt with his staggering 538 as they matched their opponent in wins. Gutter Minds leap 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Theee Beeelt moves 1 spot to 5th.
