Fall 2002 Week 16 Robo-RecapThe Fall 2002 season draws to a close, with Pop Gunns officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Janelle (Laube) Lamar landed this week's high game for the women with a 160, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 437. As for the men, Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (212) and series (575). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Pop Gunns couldn't stop inappropriately groping Top Guns. With the strength of Carl Goetz with his above-average 575 series, Pop Gunns collected 3 wins against Top Guns. Concurrently, Pat Searcy called the shots for Top Guns with his 522 despite his team notching only a single win. Pop Gunns close out in 1st place, while Top Guns come out in 2nd.

week16On lanes 19 & 20: Team 5 chucked gutter balls with Team 6. With top billing by David Codding with his 487 series, Team 5 split the series with Team 6. Conversely, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Nik Domann mastered Team 6 with his commanding 556 as they matched their opponent in wins. Team 5 end the season in 3rd place, while Team 6 sinks 1 spot to wind up in 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: UnaBowlers entered a showdown to the death with GRRR. Featuring Corey Weinfurt with his above-average 509 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Jason Carpio, the UnaBowlers celebrated a clean sweep over GRRR. While that was going down, Scott Murdock commanded GRRR with his above-average 398 despite his team getting swept. UnaBowlers leap 1 spot in the standings to end in 4th place, while GRRR cross the finish line in 6th.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Nik Domann (200, previous best 198). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Nik Domann (556, previous best 495).
