The eleventh week of Fall 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (165) and series (466) for the women. As for the men, Corey Weinfurt snagged this week's high game with a 192, and high series was earned by Dennis Laube with a 548. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: GRRR shared a few beers with Pop Gunns. While headlined by Sharon Turner with her above-average 433 series, GRRR accomplished only 1 win against Pop Gunns. Across the ball return, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Dennis Laube laid down the law in Pop Gunns with his miraculous 548 as his team took the series with 3 wins. GRRR remains in 6th place, while Pop Gunns remain in 2nd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Team 6 did battle with Team 5. Demonstrating the prowess of Jim Jones with his amazing 500 series, Team 6 celebrated a clean sweep over Team 5. On the adjacent lane, David Parre ruled Team 5 with his below-average 451 despite his team getting swept. Team 6 remains in 4th place, while Team 5 plunges 2 spots to 3rd.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: UnaBowlers chucked gutter balls with Top Guns. Even though highlighted by the skills of Corey Weinfurt with his above-average 472 series, the UnaBowlers got swept by Top Guns. On the other half of the score sheet, Bob Brunker took the lead in Top Guns with his 489 as they swept the competition. UnaBowlers remains in 5th place, while Top Guns jump 2 spots to 1st.

NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 17&18, 4th-place Team 6 will throw some gutter balls with 1st-place Top Guns. Team 6 is expected to have the bottom drop out of their averages, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Moving to lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Pop Gunns (hcp 400) will challenge 5th-place UnaBowlers. Pop Gunns might drop their averages like a brick as they get swept; while the UnaBowlers ought to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Finally, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place GRRR will meet with 3rd-place Team 5. GRRR is predicted to tank their averages considerably, but split the series with Team 5; while Team 5 is anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
