Fall 2002 Week 10 Robo-RecapThe tenth week of Fall 2002 saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (151) and series (434) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (230) and series (595) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 17 & 18: UnaBowlers did battle with Team 5. With top billing by Jarrod Guthrie with his above-average 454 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Jason Carpio, the UnaBowlers split the series with Team 5. On the other half of the score sheet, David Parre mastered Team 5 with his 495 as they matched their opponent in wins. UnaBowlers remains in 5th place, while Team 5 moves 1 spot to 1st.

week10On lanes 19 & 20: Pop Gunns sparred with Top Guns. Highlighting the skills of #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 589 series, Pop Gunns collected 3 wins against Top Guns. On the adjacent lane, Pat Searcy dominated Top Guns with his above-average 595 despite his team notching only a single win. Pop Gunns leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Top Guns plunge 2 spots to 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: GRRR had a delightful time with Team 6. Though featuring #1 Power-Ranked Scott Murdock and his astonishing 442 series, GRRR accomplished only 1 win against Team 6. Simultaneously, Jim Jones commanded Team 6 with his above-average 464 as his team took the series with 3 wins. GRRR remains in 6th place, while Team 6 remains in 4th.

Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: Carl Goetz (200,219) and Pat Searcy (230)

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 17&18, 6th-place GRRR will share a couple of pitchers with 2nd-place Pop Gunns. GRRR is expected to perform weakly, but split the series with Pop Gunns; while Pop Gunns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
  • Moving to lanes 19&20, 4th-place Team 6 will face 1st-place Team 5. Team 6 might have their averages plummet, but split the series with Team 5; while Team 5 ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 21&22, 5th-place UnaBowlers will throw some gutter balls with 3rd-place Top Guns. The UnaBowlers are predicted to tank their averages considerably, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
