A stagnated second week of Fall 2002 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (156) and series (423) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (221) and series (585) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Team 5 did battle with GRRR. Highlighting the skills of David Parre with his 471 series, Team 5 missed a clean sweep over GRRR by just one pin.Countering this, Byron Hester reigned supreme in GRRR with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 357 as his team missed getting swept by just one pin. Team 5 remains in 2nd place, while GRRR remains in 5th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Top Guns faced off against Team 6. Headlined by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Bob Brunker and his spectacular 579 series, Top Guns celebrated a clean sweep over Team 6. Concurrently, Nik Domann ruled Team 6 with his 390 despite his team getting swept. Top Guns remains in 3rd place, while Team 6 remains in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: UnaBowlers hung out with Pop Gunns. Though featuring Corey Weinfurt with his 451 series, the UnaBowlers got swept by Pop Gunns. On the flipside, Most Valuable Bowler Carl Goetz guided Pop Gunns with his terrific 585 as they swept the competition. UnaBowlers remains in 4th place, while Pop Gunns remain in 1st.

NEXT WEEK:

• First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place Pop Gunns will share a couple of pitchers with 3rd-place Top Guns. Pop Gunns are expected to have their averages plummet, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
• Moving to lanes 19&20, 4th-place UnaBowlers will meet with 2nd-place Team 5. The UnaBowlers might see a pretty significant "market correction" to their averages, but split the series with Team 5; while Team 5 ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
• Finally, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place Team 6 (hcp 2) will chill with 5th-place GRRR. Team 6 is predicted to roll decently and sweep the series; while GRRR is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
