Spring 2002 Week 9 Robo-RecapA stagnated ninth week of Spring 2002 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (187) and series (471) for the women, while Bob Brunker earned this week's high game (206) and series (517) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Fab Four spent a romantic evening with Team 3. Headlined by Dennis Laube with his above-average 495 series, Fab Four celebrated a clean sweep over Team 3. While that was going down, Bill Krejci dominated Team 3 with his below-average 442 despite his team getting swept. Fab Four remains in 2nd place, while Team 3 remains in 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 3 & 4: Team 2 had a delightful time with Top Guns. Showcasing Most Valuable Bowler Angela Bradford and her above-average 471 series, Team 2 split the series with Top Guns. In the midst of this, Bob Brunker ruled Top Guns with his 517 (along with props to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Angela Bradford) as they matched their opponent in wins. Team 2 remains in 3rd place, while Top Guns remain in 1st.

Bowlers lounging at The 200 Club include: Bob Brunker (206) and Pat Searcy (204)

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 1&2, 4th-place Team 3 will face 3rd-place Team 2. Team 3 is expected to have the bottom drop out of their averages, but split the series with Team 2; while Team 2 is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
  • Finally, on lanes 3&4, 1st-place Top Guns will compete against 2nd-place Fab Four. Top Guns are predicted to watch their averages take a plunge, but split the series with Fab Four; while Fab Four is anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
