Spring 2002, Week 11

Spring 2002 Week 11 Robo-RecapThe Spring 2002 season draws to a close, with Top Guns officially earning this season's championship title! The eleventh week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Angie Betts landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 436. As for the men, Scott Murdock snagged this week's high game with a 189, and high series was earned by Pat Searcy with a 519. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Fab Four faced off against Top Guns. In spite of the prowess of Ken M. Wilson with his 502 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler , Fab Four accomplished only 1 win against Top Guns. In the midst of this, Pat Searcy shined in Top Guns with his 519 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Fab Four drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Top Guns move 1 spot to 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 3 & 4: Team 2 kept grabbing the balls of Team 3. Though reinforced by Jeff Gragg with his below-average 428 series, Team 2 accomplished only 1 win against Team 3. Meanwhile, #1 Power-Ranked Scott Murdock took the lead in Team 3 with his miraculous 442 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Tracey Robertson) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 2 remains in 3rd place, while Team 3 remains in 4th.

Spring 2002 Week 10 Robo-RecapThe tenth week of Spring 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (173) and series (415) for the women, while Bob Brunker earned this week's high game (213) and series (556) for the men. First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Team 3 accepted a challenge by Team 2. While headlined by Bill Krejci with his below-average 426 series, Team 3 accomplished only 1 win against Team 2. Meanwhile, Angela Bradford laid down the law in Team 2 with her below-average 415 (along with kudos to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Angie Betts, as well as #1 Head-to-Head ) as her team took the series with 3 wins. Team 3 remains in 4th place, while Team 2 remains in 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 3 & 4: Top Guns faced off against Fab Four. Despite the strength of Bob Brunker with his above-average 556 series, Top Guns accomplished only 1 win against Fab Four. On the other side, Ken M. Wilson shined in Fab Four with his 531 (with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler ) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Top Guns drop 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Fab Four moves 1 spot to 1st.

  • Finally, on lanes 3&4, 3rd-place Team 2 will test their mettle against 4th-place Team 3 (hcp 9). Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (187) and series (471) for the women, while Bob Brunker earned this week's high game (206) and series (517) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Fab Four hung out with Team 3. Demonstrating the prowess of Dennis Laube with his above-average 495 series, Fab Four celebrated a clean sweep over Team 3. In the meantime, Bill Krejci showed off in Team 3 with his below-average 442 despite his team getting swept. Fab Four remains in 2nd place, while Team 3 remains in 4th.
