Spring 2002 Week 3 Robo-RecapBy now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Spring 2002 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. A stagnated third week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (187) and series (472) for the women, while Bob Brunker earned this week's high game (226) and series (596) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Team 2 matched wits with Team 3. Topped by Angela Bradford with her stunning 472 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Deena Slinkard, Team 2 collected 3 wins against Team 3. Countering this, Bill Krejci oversaw Team 3 with his below-average 453 despite his team notching only a single win. Team 2 remains in 3rd place, while Team 3 remains in 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 3 & 4: Fab Four alternated between bowling and dry humping Top Guns. Despite being led by Ken M. Wilson with his powerful 525 series, Fab Four accomplished only 1 win against Top Guns. As for the opposition, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Bob Brunker guided Top Guns with his commanding 596 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Fab Four remains in 1st place, while Top Guns remain in 2nd.

Bowlers lounging at The 200 Club include: Bob Brunker (226), Ken M. Wilson (202), Pat Searcy (201), and Phil Schroeder (225)

New personal high games were set tonight by Phil Schroeder (225, previous best 202) and Bob Brunker (226, previous best 203). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Phil Schroeder (519, previous best 476) and Bob Brunker (596, previous best 553).

The 226 rolled by Bob Brunker is the new 3rd-best men's game in league history!
The 596 rolled by Bob Brunker is the new 3rd-best men's series in league history!

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 1&2, 4th-place Team 3 will socialize with 2nd-place Top Guns (hcp 419). Team 3 is expected to roll a little low, yet still manage to sweep the series; while Top Guns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 3&4, 3rd-place Team 2 will throw some gutter balls with 1st-place Fab Four. Team 2 is predicted to have the bottom drop out of their averages, but split the series with Fab Four; while Fab Four is anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
