By now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Spring 2002 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. A stagnated third week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (187) and series (472) for the women, while Bob Brunker earned this week's high game (226) and series (596) for the men. First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Team 2 kept grabbing the balls of Team 3. Showcasing Angela Bradford with her breathtaking 472 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Deena Slinkard, Team 2 collected 3 wins against Team 3. On the other side, Bill Krejci reigned supreme in Team 3 with his below-average 453 despite his team notching only a single win. Team 2 remains in 3rd place, while Team 3 remains in 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 3 & 4: Fab Four chucked gutter balls with Top Guns. In spite of the prowess of Ken M. Wilson with his astounding 525 series, Fab Four accomplished only 1 win against Top Guns. Concurrently, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Bob Brunker commanded Top Guns with his outstanding 596 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Fab Four remains in 1st place, while Top Guns remain in 2nd.

New personal high games were set tonight by Phil Schroeder (225, previous best 202) and Bob Brunker (226, previous best 203). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Phil Schroeder (519, previous best 476) and Bob Brunker (596, previous best 553).

NEXT WEEK:

• First, on lanes 1&2, 4th-place Team 3 will roll against 2nd-place Top Guns (hcp 419). Team 3 is expected to roll a little low, yet still manage to sweep the series; while Top Guns are forecast to see their team average take a dive while they endure a rough night.
• Finally, on lanes 3&4, 3rd-place Team 2 will battle 1st-place Fab Four. Team 2 is predicted to watch their averages take a plunge, but split the series with Fab Four; while Fab Four is anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
