The league now has Week #5 in the history books and with it came some serious output from the first place team. While three teams swapped places in the league standings, only two teams remain standing with winning records – which has to be a first in our league's history. This week saw most teams either remain fixed in the standings or slide. However two teams managed to buck the trend and improve their position in the league.In the matchup between Ballz Out and More Beer, Chelsea on lanes 41 & 42, Each bowler roll either uncharacteristically well or uncharacteristically poorly, and in some cases it was a combination of both. Holding onto the Reigns

Tuesday night was an historic night in GutterAlley as, combined, the league put up a pretty big overall average of 168 for Week #3. Tentatively, five teams have moved around in the league standings but last season's champs refuse to relinquish their icy grasp on first place despite only two games separating the top four teams. As we point out every season, Week #2 is always the most volatile of any given session. Not to disappoint, seven of the league's eight teams swapped places in the league standings in the second week shuffle. Average were all over the place with one person raising his 27 while another person dropped theirs 17. The very first night of our 30th season of GutterAlley action is now in the books and the league split it right down the middle with four teams coming away with records of 3-1 while the other half took it on the chin 1-3. Well, the summer is wrapping up and that can mean only two things – winter is coming (eventually) and it's time for another session of GutterAlley Bowling! This will be our 30th season. The Spring 2014 season officially came to an end Tuesday night with the Finals a mere formality as the new league champions wrapped it all up last week. Congratulations once again to Jonathan Vigliaturo, Andy McLeod, Ian Goetz, and Seth Gunderson. This is the first title for both Jonathan and Andy, the 4th for Ian, and the 6th for Seth. The Spring 2014 had two great events take place during Week #14. Firstly, the scrappy band of Jonathan Vigliaturo, Andy McLeod, Ian Goetz, and Seth Gunderson wrapped up the season to clinch the championship crown the week before the Finals. The Finals are almost upon us as Week #14 proved to be a quiet one in regards to any switches in the league standings. The league leaders, however, managed to increase their lead from a mere 1.5 games back up to 3.5 over the rest of the league as they try to wrap up the season before the big Finals showdown. Twice in GutterAlley's recorded history, the eventual champions were able to lock up the season in Week #13 and just coast the rest of the way with the title already in hand.
