Tonight saw a bit of a shakeup in the standings, including a surge from a team that couldn't be bothered to show up on the proper bowling night yet still thinks they get to bank their Scoot-humpings until next week. But before we get to that, on lanes 41 & 42: It's A Trap! faced off against Stephen Hawking's Dance Club. Though the predictions called for a sweep, Andrew Finger's 597 series wasn't enough for the Trap to muster more than 1 win. Meanwhile Michael Gordon turned it on with a 557 series to lead Stephen Hawking's Dance Club to 3 wins. It's A Trap! remains in 7th place, while Stephen Hawking's Dance Club moves up 1 spots to 2nd.
On lanes 43 & 44: Split It & Hit It met Hold My Beer, Watch This in a matchup full of trash talk. Led by Dennis Blake and his 580 series, Split It & Hit It secured 3 wins against Hold My Beer, while an uncharacteristic 563 series from Kody Karnes , led Watch This to their sole win. Split It & Hit It climbs 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Hold My Beer, Watch This drops 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 45 & 46: A pre-bowling Salt Water Taffy, who almost certainly was rolling with the bumpers up, stuck it to 404: Team Name Not Found big time. Led by Ian Goetz and his 637 series, Salt Water Taffy secured a clean sweep over 404: Team Name Not Found. Scott Murdock "led" 404 to abject failure with his 476 series. Salt Water Taffy climbs 1 spot in the standings to 1st place, while 404: Team Name Not Found, who should have bowled with the bumpers up, sinks 3 spots to 4th.Finally, down on lanes 47 & 48: Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! got their turn against the blind team. Phil Schroeder and his 530 series led the Sandbaggers to a clean sweep. Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! moves up 1 spot to 5th place.
This week in Tournament of Champions, Ian Goetz with his wussy bumper pre-bowling ran away with Division 1. In Division 2, Dennis Blake bent Michael Gordon over the pharmacy counter and spanked a prescription for victory right out of him. Division 3 saw Todd Way overcome the power of Phil Schroeder's sandy bag. Finally, in Division 4, nobody accomplished much of anything. But, hey, Chelsie Finger and Zach Cross both earned a point. So there's that. Bowlers sneaking into The 200 Club while the bouncer was distracted by AJ's boob drawing include: Aaron Barber (221), Andrew Finger (225), Carl Goetz (217,216), Dennis Blake (208), Ian Goetz (244,200), Kody Karnes (213), Seth Gunderson (211), and Todd Way (222)See you next Tuesday!

It’s because Dennis Blake did a better job than you of sandbagging until the week the Tournament started.
