Week #7 is the round each season in which every team has done battle against one another. This time around, the underdogs seemed to land some pretty solid punches against their opponents although not a single team moved at all in the league standings. Check it out...After taking the first two games behind anchor Ken M. Wilson's 648 series, Breaking Bad fell to a comeback victory from Bowltron in Game #3, allowing them to split the series after taking total pins as well. Bowltron was led by Ryan Doll's 548 series. Bowltron, still with the best record in the league at 22-6, sits 4.5 games ahead of everyone else. Breaking Bad remains in 4th with their 14-14 record.Making their own surge in the win column, Gutterfingers took it to Even Brunker Than Defore and walked away with a 3-1 matchup victory. Led once again by anchor Anita Osthoff and her 504 series, the Fingers remain in 6th place with a record of 12.5-15.5. Defore, led by anchor Eric Lynch and his 475 series, remain in 8th place with their 4-24 record.Easily the most impressive performance of the night came from Split It and Hit It's anchor, Dennis Blake. Earning both Most Valuable Bowler and #1 Power Ranked bowler honors, Blake's 627 series nearly handed a sweep to opponents Will Strike if Provoked but they managed to secure one win behind Aubrey Moren's 521 series. Split It, improving to 14-14 for the season, still sits in 5th while Will Strike's 17.5-10.5 record keeps them in 2nd place. The final matchup of the night pitted Bewbie Dance against Ballz Out. The Ballzs' Cliff Barendsen, who took offense at the predicted results, put up a 513 series to swap punches with Bewbie's Seth Gunderson (who put up a 614) to end the night with a 2-2 split. Bewbie, still holding onto 3rd place, improved to 17-11 while Ballz Out remains in 7th with a 11-17 record.Next week, the position round will pit the following teams against one another:Matchup #1: Bowltron vs. Will Strike if ProvokedMatchup #2: Bewbie Dance vs. Breaking BadMatchup #3: Split It & Hit It vs. GutterfingersMatchup #4: Ballz Out vs. Even Brunker Than DeforeThe Tournament of Champions results: Division 1 = Aubrey Moren (10), Ryan Doll (10)Division 2 = Jonathan Vigliaturo (9), Dennis Blake and Anita Osthoff (7)Division 3 = Freda Schroeder (13), Bryan Mohr (10)Division 4 = Michael Smith (15), Chadwick Andrews (7)This week's The 200 Club: Aubrey Moren (225), Dennis Blake (214, 222), Ken M.
