The fourth week of Spring 2005 saw three teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (178) and series (502) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (234) and series (663) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: 4 Play kept grabbing the balls of The Incredibowls. Featuring #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy and his amazing 663 series, 4 Play celebrated a clean sweep over The Incredibowls. Conversely, Phil Schroeder dominated The Incredibowls with his above-average 465 despite his team getting swept. 4 Play remains in 1st place, while The Incredibowls plunge 3 spots to 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Sub Parre entered a showdown to the death with Nellielocks and the 3 Spares. Topped by David Parre with his 419 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Andrea Wilson, Sub Parre celebrated a clean sweep over Nellielocks. On the flipside, Dennis Laube ruled Nellielocks with his below-average 495 despite his team getting swept. Sub Parre leaps 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Nellielocks plunge 3 spots to 6th.
On lanes 23 & 24: All Belt, No Buckle had a rendezvous with Handicrappers. Highlighting the skills of Demond Robinson with his 494 series, the Belt split the series with Handicrappers. On the other half of the score sheet, Mark McClendon showed off in Handicrappers with his 469 as they matched their opponent in wins. All Belt, No Buckle remains in 2nd place, while Handicrappers jump 2 spots to 4th.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Big Pin Pin had some one-on-one time with Bowlingstar Galactica. Headlined by David Hayob with his splendid 515 series, Pin Pin collected 2.5 wins against the Galactica. Countering this, Jason Carpio guided the Galactica with his above-average 517 despite his team losing the matchup with only 1.5 victories. Big Pin Pin leaps 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while the Galactica remains in 8th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Kris Hiestand (390, previous best 371). Angela Bradford claimed the season's women's high series with her 502. In addition, Pat Searcy bagged the season's men's high series with his 663.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Pat Searcy made quick work of Division 1, while Seth Gunderson ruled Division 2. Brad Zollars won Division 3, and Bart Smith claimed victory in Division 4. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy holds the reins in Division 1; Seth Gunderson reigns over Division 2; Brad Zollars governs Division 3; and Bart Smith calls the shots for Division 4.
